I am also facing same issue with wordpress-4.9.6.
My current theme is Gaga corp
I have installed Multilanguage by BestWebSoft plugin version 1.3.1.
I also edited the pages and post but it was not displaying.
Translation is not working because it is a free plugin or its a theme issue.
