Yes, I tried this now in Edge and it is working properly, like you write.

My trouble somehow has to do with my Chrome browser. This is the browser which I normally use.

Only the ones which I have renamed.

Now I see the lines in the right top corner. Which when I click on shows me my new menu.

My new question:
Can I make fixed buttons across the right top of my header,
instead of this clicking on the three lines and then seeing the menu?

I thought I looked there. Anyhow, that was so simple.

Yes, you’re right. The posts table shows empty.

So I imported again my database. And I see my posts.

But now when I try to go to my url adrichalut.com it treats me like I am starting a new empty blog: asking for site title, username, password, etc. with button to install WordPress!

Thanks again Steve! This time I got the script to run. It actually found hundreds of changes to make. (which surprises me because before I moved the site I had requested WordPress to change the URL’s)

But I’m afraid my site still shows an empty site:

I see on the ‘Search and Replace’ site amazing instructions on how to move one’s wp site. Yet I am still confused. In one place he says:

Download the script from the link you received by email, and install it to a secret folder with an obfuscated name.

So I installed the script to a folder inside ‘htdocs’ and gave the folder my own made-up name. (is this correct to put it inside htdocs?) and I erased the folder name:
‘Search-Replace-DB-master’ (was I supposed to do this?)

And on this page:

Simply visit https://www.example.com/searchreplacedb.php in your browser to fire off the script

is the correct address if I gave the folder my own made-up name?

1.I checked my wp-config file again. I did make a little change but was no help.
I don’t get an error message — so I don’t think this is the problem

2.I added this script, but don’t know how to use it (how to get it to run).

Please help! And/or any other ideas?!

Yes, this solved my problem. I deactivated a few of my plugins (that I wasn’t even using) and now my widget page is working perfectly!

It’s so frustrating – I can’t move new widgets to my side bar
nor widgets off the bar!

Can anyone help?

It’s strange:

1. I see that if I am not on the ‘widgets’ page, I can toggle the ‘screen options’ button at the top of the page.

2. BUT if I am on the widgets paget, the ‘screen options’ button will NOT toggle!

What is going on?

and uploaded the file.

But still I am not able work with my widgets page (eg. to add widgets or remove widgets)!
