@ppescoto In my experience, the translation becomes automatically available in WordPress after some time (1 day maximum). That is, if you have the es_mx locale configured in WordPress, then the translations will be loaded and applied automatically after some time after you make them.

Regarding your proposal for colaboration – do you mind sending me your contact email at [email protected]? It would be great to have a multilingual site and documentation. I’m not sure if the current framework I’m using for the site is multilingual, but I’ll look into this when I have some free time.

The described symptoms are very similar to the fact that when installing the plugin, the necessary tables in the database were not created. If you have access to your web server logs, then I would look at what was recorded in them at the time the plugin was activated (you need to remove the plugin and install it again).

First of all, thank you so much for translating the plugin into Spanish. This is a great contribution to the usability of the product by Hispanic users.

The translation service is designed in such a way that in order for your translation to become available to everyone and download automatically, it must be approved by the Translation Editor of the corresponding language.

As the author of the plugin, but not a native speaker of Spanish, I cannot approve it. Therefore, you need to contact the translation team and ask them to check your translation.

You can also download a translation yourself, which is not yet approved. To do this, follow the instructions and download Machine Object Message Catalog (.mo).

After you have downloaded the file, rename it to money-manager-[locale].mo(replace locale with your actual locale e.g. es_ES) and copy the renamed file to wp-content/languages/plugins/.
