    Hi Emanuel!

    Thank you for reaching out.

Did you check the English language version? The German version works fine, but the English version does not. That’s the one you would need to check.

Also make sure to check the mobile menu (not the desktop version)!

Issue resolved: Textlinks (anchor links) get changed correctly, image links (with advanced javasript) do not (Divi Pagebuilder Module image hover). In the Divi Module, you can choose weather to have a URL link (in my case absolute path URL with anchor) either for a title text or for the whole module (or both).

The “module link” did not translate correctly in Translate Press. The solution is to leave the “module link” area empty and only use the “Text Title” link area within the Divi module.

I checkd the error message after submit and I get :

Failed to load resources: The server responded with a status of 500 ()

There seems to be an issue with your servers. Either your database has issues or your server performance in general has some reliability issues.

Could you please implement a way of getting a license that doesn’t rely on your servers? This is simply happening too many times and is really frustrating when you are on a deadline …

    Thank you.

PS: In the meantime, could you please send me a work-around on how to get a free license? Please not one that involves my own account, as this is for a new client not myself. I am a web designer that implements this for clients. Thanks.

    Hi Stefano,

Not sure you understand. I am setting this up for clients as a free account.

Your workaround does not work for me. I am still having this issue on all my new client installations.

I cannot create a free license via email subscribe. I enter the email, I check the “Terms of Services” checkbox and click submit. Absolutely nothing happens. Cannot get license key.

What should I do? This is so frustrating, because it really slows down my client installation routine tremdously. I cleared all possible caching. Still it does not work. I deactivate the plugin and reactivate. Nothing. Same issue over and over again.

When will this finally get fixed?? If this wont be fixed I will have to switch all my new clients to a different plugin.

    Thanks,
    W

PS: This has not been resolved. Why is there a green resolve checkbox????

    Thank you!

I will give the exception in function.php to allow iframes a try.

A total of 120 of my client websites where affected by this latest release (Spotify iframe player not working as a result).

For me, it came without a warning.

I downgraded ACF to version 6.2.3 until I can find a solution. But like you, I am a designer and not a coder, so much of the security page warning hasn’t helped me a bit.

I will try your filter, thanks for posting.

You could also roll back the plugin version to 6.2.3. It’s easy, follow this video https://youtu.be/3lS9A-UeUic – my website is working again after I did.

Until this issue is resolved or solution better explained by ACF team, that is what I would do.

For anyone affected by this sudden change where iframe output is blocked by ACF, and since support here can take some time, make sure to:

1.) NOT install ACF version 6.2.5
2.) If you did install this version and your ACF project doesn’t work any longer (eg Iframe HTML output being blocked by ACF) then roll back to version 6.2.3

To roll back ACF to previous versions, follow this video https://youtu.be/3lS9A-UeUic

It worked for me. It’s all working again after I rolled back.

Theo also has a working solution in this tread “Missing field with last update” whereby you can disable the new changes for a given field (it also worked for me) by using a Functions.php filter.

If you are affected by this recent change in of ACF version 6.2.5 you can roll back to version 6.2.3. This solved the issue with Iframe HTML not displaying anymore (Spotify Player embed code).

For instruction on how to roll back follow this video: https://youtu.be/3lS9A-UeUic

    It worked for me.

Ok seems the issue can be resolved by switching to SMTP port 587 with STARTTLS. I will let you know if this continues to work, but for now it is looking good.

I guess I cant use Port 465 any longer?

Imagine the immense value of having a real-time, objective benchmark for web hosting speed. Considering the prevalence of marketing dishonesty in the web hosting industry, fueled by affiliate blogs, such a benchmark would be incredibly valuable.

If you require a budget to implement this feature, I suggest starting a Kickstarter campaign, and I would gladly become your first supporter. To incentivize sponsorship, you could offer a lifetime BSR license for multiple domains to the first 10-50 backers. Promoting your campaign through the BSR plugin menu and on your website would help garner attention and support.

I have done as you asked. Siteground is looking into the issue and will hopefully have an update soon. Cheers

Hi again and thank you for your response.

I updated to the most recent versions (WP, DIVI, SG Optimizer). The issue is still there. All my links are underlined. When I deactivate the SG Optimizer plugin, the issue is resolved. A member of the Elegant Themes support team logged on to investigate the issue and confirmed, that this is a SG Optimizer plugin issue. She wrote “I am able to confirm the issue you’re having with SG Optimizer… I suggest reaching out to SG Optimizer plugin”. This is what I am doing now.

Thank you for offering to look into the matter, which I think should be of interest to you, as this affects multiple of my client sites. I can also confirm, that this behaviour was introduced in a very recent update. 1-2 weeks…

Please let me know how to proceed. If you need WP log-in details and link, let me know how to send it to you securily.

I need this issue resolved quickly, as this affects 30 or more of my client websites (I haven’t counted all of them).

    Greetings,
    Walter

According to another answer I received from DonDivi who was also kind enough to look into this matter:

“Links other than Gutenberg buttons are now underlined. This has been introduced in a recent version of WordPress (I think)… but the default Divi (theme) styles remove the text decoration. That’s why the underline should not appear regardless the Gutenberg CSS introduced in WordPress 6.1. The only thing I can think right now, is that Siteground optimizer is priorizing the Gutenberg styles over the Divi styles (maybe because all the styles are being combined)!”

That seems to be the issue. If Siteground could fix this issue, it would mean I (and many other developers) don’t have to change css on hundreds of websites.

    Hope that helps,
    Cheers,
    Walter
