Never mind, I figured it out.
I used short code in the editor instead of my original way of doing it. Worked just fine.
I can’t figure out how to delete this post so I marked it as solved.

On my iphone it displays as a simple hamburger menu, which is fine, obviously for the small screen.

But on my ipad, both vertically and horizontally tilted, the menu shows up with all the items present, no hamburger.

Is there a way to tell what kind of settings she has or simple code that does not mess with the core of the theme?

I didn’t do 1-3 because I thought it was two different options. oops!

Also, I am concerned that you said “do at your own risk” and that it will be overwritten with the next update. I don’t want to break my site or have to keep entering code every time there is an update.

Is there no other easy way to do this without the risk?

If not, then perhaps I will just have to live with it the way it is…maybe move the hamburger menu to the right instead of center or something.

I used the css code you posted in the link and it looked great for about 5 seconds…then the menu items grouped together and are now appearing as a drop down menu that is static at the top.

It is only showing up this way on my ipad when I tilt it horizontally.

How can I fix this?

Thanks, but it looks like those all have the same federal law requirments.

I was looking for something like what Blogger offers…I have a free blog with them and a widget I can select that allows people to follow by email. I do not have to use a separate account to link to the “follow by email” widget. With them, because I am not creating an email list that I can access, there is no requirment for me to use my address.

There’s got to be something like this for wordpress…a stand alone email opt-in that I dont need a separate account for???

I am not sure how to take and attach a screen shot on my laptop to here…

But I did check my other devices to see if the same problem is occuring and it is not. Is there some kind of setting that gets messed up with my laptop that I use to do my website editing or something?

I am not sure about updates, it seems I have one every day and I am not sure exactly which day this issue started.

I will check out the things you mentioned again…but I am pretty sure I have already done so.

Is there anything else I could be missing?

Could I trash this particular embed and make a new one? Might that fix it?

I didn’t see anything in text mode of the editor, but I did delete everything from my first line up, just in case and that seemed to clear up the issue.

I used Hustle plugin for that pop-up.
I tried temporarily disabling it but that blank spot is still there.

Anything else I can try?

What is the modal form and where can I find it?

hmmm…okay. Well, as long as I know it is showing up in incognito mode I don’t think I will bother trying to figure out why the cache won’t clear. Thanks!
