Hi Jason,
Thanks for the quick reply, I like breaking stuff;)
I looked deeper into what we have going on in the backend and remembered that I had set some PMP generated pages to Draft mode (except the Member Levels page)…setting those to published solved the issue and gave me the expected Permalink URL.
User error and a simple fix;)
Sorry for the confusion and again, thanks for your time and attention. I’d love to show you what we have going on. I’ll try and DM you on Twitter.
Hello,
No, not at this time. Pulling this data from your images and utilizing them inside WP and within FooGallery would take some customization and development.
FooGallery does have a built-in “Simple Portfolio” template that will display Title and Captions, but these would come from the image meta fields within WordPress.
This is an interesting idea for a FooGallery extension though, so I’ve put it on the list of possibilities.
In the mean time, see this thread about the Media Library Assistant plugin.
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/plugin-media-library-assistant-feature-request-use-existing-xmpiptc-meta-data?replies=9It seems this plugin allows you to “map” IPTC/XMP data to WP image meta data fields. If you do this in combination with FooGallery and with using the Simple Portfolio template, you may be able to accomplish what you need.
You’re welcome, and great to know it’s been resolved:)
Hi,
Looking at the source code of your page, I don’t see any reference to the FooBox lightbox plugin. This is the lightbox plugin that is currently supported by FooGallery.
You can download and install the free version of FooBox here:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/foobox-image-lightbox/@katiepez, it looks like your images are not set to “Media File” in your gallery. Have a look at this image:

Ok, let’s tackle the Add FooGallery issue.
We haven’t had any other users report this, so it’s likely either a browser conflict still, or perhaps more likely, a conflict with another plugin.
The next step in troubleshooting is for you to deactivate all other plugins besides FooGallery, clear your browser cache and then try the Add FooGallery button again.
If it still does not work as expected, then please disable ALL of your browser Addons and Extensions and try again.
Please let me know how that goes.
If you find it starts working when doing the above, then reactivate each plugin or browser addon one at a time until you find the culprit.
Do you see the “Add FooGalley” button in your editor? Like in this image?
https://docs.fooplugins.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/Screen-Shot-2014-07-17-at-10.26.42-AM.png
Clicking “Add FooGallery” will bring up a window to insert an existing gallery or create a new gallery. If you don’t see that window, please make sure your browser isn’t blocking popups.
Also, that page you linked to has a notice that this method no longer works in NGG 2.0
Can you please clarify your trouble by answering a few questions below?
You are using FooGallery and FooBox Pro, correct?
After activating FooGallery, cab you go to FooGallery->Add New and create a gallery?
If you are trying to open a multiple image gallery from a single thumbnail on a page, this is something that is not built in. However, you can try this free plugin built specifically for that purpose:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/foothumbnails-for-galleries/
Please let me know if I’m understanding your desired usage correctly.
Hello, we have been able to reproduce this error in Firefox only and are currently working on a fix.
We will update this thread when an updated version is available.
Can you share a link to the page/post you have the FooGallery shortcode in so we can take a look?
Hi timpogo,
Thanks for the kind words. It looks like we made a slight boo boo. Those screenshots on the product page are from my personal development install, which includes some gallery templates that aren’t included in FooGallery just yet.
We’re still putting the finishing touches on them and they will be included as templates very soon!
We’re currently working on the Albums module, but don’t have an ETA just yet.
