eastpath,
Sounds like a CSS conflict issue, please post a url to the page that contains an image with this issue. I’ll have a look.
Thanks, it’s most appreciated (fingers crossed) ??

In reply to: Multisite Plugin Question – Can I suppress some? Thanks for the reply:)
Bummer dude:(
I just posted to a related thread here. It seems these plugins need some more testing with domain mapping.
If anyone has gotten this to work, I’m sure you’d be pretty popular:)

In reply to: Multisite Plugin Question – Can I suppress some?Hi all, I know this is an old thread, but I’ve just researched the two plugins listed here and it seems that each has reports of not working as expected. I wonder if someone using them can verify this one especially posted by justbishop:
https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/restrict-multisite-plugins/The forum has two users claiming it does not work with multiple domains (domain mapping).
Anyone using this successfully with domain mapping?

In reply to: [Register Plus] [Plugin: Register Plus] Doesn't work on WPMUThere has been an update to that plugin and it’s well worth the cost, but unfortunately my testing has come to a halt due to some higher priority projects. I will be revisiting it as soon as I can, but if you happen to move forward with it, please share your experience here.
Allowing the same set of ads to be shown across network sites would be awesome. Maybe an option in dfrad settings that allows user to choose a blog to pull ads from?

In reply to: Super admin not showingI just wanted to add that I ran into the same issue with the Super Admin menu not showing. I had changed the “admin” username in phpMyAdmin previously in the wp_users table.
I had changed these field from “admin” to another username:
user_login
user_nicename
display_nameI changed them all back to “admin” and I now see the Super Admin menu.
Brent,
My apologies. It seems that it is working as it’s intended. It looks like the owner of the site had changed the Privacy settings and I didn’t catch it.
…Now I’m off to explore prospress…looks interesting!
After my morning coffee and reading your reply here, I have a hunch that I’m going to check. I have the Maintenance Mode plugin activated on the sites I was trying to add my user to. Maybe that’s the issue.
I’ll check on that and post back here…

In reply to: [FeedWordPress] FeedWordPress and Post ThumbnailsI’m closer. Do you happen to be a member of StudioPress? My thread is behind the login on their Genesis Framework forums. Although the method I’m exploring is a function that filters the built-in genesis_get_image hook to include Justin Tadlock’s get_the_image. It’s working for thumbnail sizes now, but there are other sizes I’m trying to get it to work with also.
Thanks to Daisy Olsen for the actual function.
If you do have a login to their support forum, the thread is here:

In reply to: [Register Plus] [Plugin: Register Plus] Doesn't work on WPMUI’ve been aware of this plugin for a few years now and have been hoping someone would pick up the development of it, especially to make it work with WPMU (now known as WP 3.0 with Multi-Site enabled).
I actually just purchased a similar plugin after talking with their live support, but it’s not working as expected with either my WPMU 2.9.2 of my WPMS 3.0 installations. I am working with them to try and figure out what the issue is and I’ll post back when I learn more.
Having a plugin that allows for relatively easy customization of the registration fields and profile fields is the holy grail of WordPress plugins as far as I’m concerned. I’ll gladly fork over cold hard cash if I could find one that worked out of the box and was supported.
The rumor is that Gravity Forms might try and build in that functionality in the future, but who knows?
By the way, the plugin I just purchased was:
https://tribulant.com/plugins/view/7/wordpress-custom-fields-pluginKeep in mind that this is not on the WP plugin repository but there is a different plugin with the same name. This causes an issue with the automatic upgrade script because it tells you there’s an update for the plugin, but it’s really an update for the OTHER plugin.
Maybe I’ll start an initiative to gather a community of WP users to fund the development of a kickass registration/profile fields plugin…hmmm…

In reply to: [FeedWordPress] FeedWordPress and Post ThumbnailsI wonder if you’ve found a working solution for this? I have about five sites on a network install and the main site’s “General News” category of posts is feeding the other five. These are using themes that make use of post thumbnails…
