Thanks, I’ve just purchased premium to show our support:)
One follow up question. Are users required to enter and email in order to spin? Even if we don’t intend to connect our email marketing platform?
Should I assume it is required just to validate real users from bots?
Great explanation @steveush, thank you for jumping in.
To be clear about those jquery issues caused by other plugins/theme. The best route is to contact the developers of those plugins/theme and share with them the fix.
You don’t want to make these edits to these yourself because when the plugins/themes are updated, your custom changes will be overwritten.
Alternatively, you can deactivate the problem plugins and seek a different plugin solution for the features they provide. A little more complicated is changing the entire theme of course.
Again, we recommend sharing these solutions with the developers directly in the hope that they will fix and provide updated versions.
It looks like you have some jquery errors related to Jetpack and your theme. IN Chrome, right click and choose “Inspect”, then click on “Console” to see them.

Can you please share the url to where the galleries are not appearing?Hi @jordy and others,
I’m the co-founder of FooPlugins and just wanted to jump in quick to let you know that both @bradvin and I are here and listening:)
As you might know, we just released a major update to FooGallery so we’ve been busy with follow up on that and the both of us have been traveling.
We’re going to schedule some time to discuss internally in more detail in the next couple weeks and see what we can do.
@jordy, I have contacted you on .org Slack to start the conversations ??
Hi @osseonews,
We are currently looking deeper into supporting AMP and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We realize the trend of AMP usage will only rise and will do what we can to come up with a solution.
Great news. Glad it was an easy fix! Could you please mark this thread as resolved?
Also, nice bus!
Can you verify that you have this setting checked? FooBox–>Settings–>General
“Attachment Images Enable FooBox for all media images included in posts or pages.”
Also, please ensure that when adding the image from the Media Library that the “Link to” in the attachment display settings is set to “media file” instead of none.

Hi @velvetlounger, I’m having a look now. Will post back in a few with some ideas.
I am the Co-founder of FooPlugins along with @bradvin
I wanted to jump in here and echo his reply that we do apologize for the trouble you’ve experienced. We are doing all we can to ensure that all reported issues are fixed to the best of our ability and as fast as possible.
We’re extremely thankful for the 100,000+ users of our free plugin and the support of our small team. Our intention, as @bradvin said, is not to break sites and cause issues. We intend to continue fixing bugs, developing new features, and making FooGallery the best it can be.
Yahoo! Glad to hear it!
If you could please mark this thread as “resolved”, that would be great ??
Please update to v1.4.5 which was just released. Clear all caches in your browser, the plugin (on the settings page under the “general” tab), and any caching options from other plugins or from your host.
If this doesn’t work, please edit a gallery and update it and save.
Please let us know how it goes.
Can you give an example of the features that you feel aren’t working? Or, a link to your list of reported issues?
Do you have a link?
It should be using the Custom CSS box for that gallery. Do you have a link to the page your gallery is on?
Do you mean comments on the page that the gallery is on? Or, do you want people to be able to add comments on the individual images within the gallery?
If you mean comments on the page that the gallery resides on, this is a function of WordPress itself and not the gallery plugin.
To accomplish comments only by logged-in registered users, see this article.
Go to Dashboard->Settings->Discussion and look for the setting for “Users must be registered and logged in to comment”.
If you’re looking for commenting on individual images within a gallery, this feature does not yet exist within FooGallery (but it is on our future feature list).
Hope that helps:)
