I see the wp-config.php file but no .htaccess file. So to add one, do I use my ftp mgr? and do I literally save it as “.htaccess”? There’s no prefix or suffix?
I did click on the “index” file and I got the blog up but it has some canned opening that says, “hello world”. Is that the blog main page?

Not to make this boring but I came across the same thing- I put double-quotes around my definitions in the wp-config file and I did create a database (although it says it’s empty-could that be the problem?)
My user name and db name are prefixed with my account name but I can’t find how to change that. Any kind of db name or user name I create has it.
Any thoughts?
