    Hi camilayp.

Where are you have your problems with accents? In post headings, or somewhere else? Are you using the Bueno theme?

If you are using Bueno, one thing I learned is that the font used for the post headings (ChunkFive) doesn’t have accents. BUT … there was someone out in cyberspace who added accents to ChunkFive, but you’d have to install THAT version into your blog. (However, even this version is missing some characters commonly used in other languages.)

Write back and let me know what you’re using. And, if possible, provide a link to your site so you can point to the problem.

    Good luck. ana.

    Problem solved!

Just realized that the language set-up w/in WordPress would determine how to use the edited/bilingual .po and .mo files.

    Hi,

Just wondering whether this same font issue will affect the tilde sign in the Spanish ?. I’m already expecting some problems as this has already happened:

I wanted to add some translations in Spanish in my blog, so using accents and such will be pretty important. But if Bueno can’t handle this, I’m ready to move on to another theme.

    thanks for any thoughts. ana.

    Hi there,

I have a similar problem with my featured images, except I get a line of text (including “no such file or directory …”) in the spot where I assume my image would go. The only thing I’ve found to get rid of it is to just remove the featured image.

Here’s what I mean: https://www.dessertion.com (see the “luck with lucuma” entry)

Also, I’ve noticed that the “Edit Image” button doesn’t show up in my “Add an Image” module. Ever. (I just started this blog a few weeks ago.)

I’m using the Bueno theme from Woo Themes with WordPress 3.0.4

Any thoughts would be much appreciated. ana.
