Is there a way to customize this code to hide the payment method from particular emails only? For example, it does not make sense for the COD instructions to appear in the Order Refunded or Completed emails. But I would like to keep the COD instructions in the Invoice.

Yes this is the message from the field. But this screenshot was taken from the frontend under the account page, under order details which the customer can see.

Since last night, i have tried clearing the cache, using new phones, purging the website cach, using VPN and refreshing a hundred times but the banner is still hiding the menu on Mobile Safari.
Appreciate if you could take another look at it please..

Yes the problem is only in Safari,
I added the code, with !important;, Purged all caches and cleared browsing history and used a new phone and still the same issue.
