    Thank you!

But about my pages, the titles are on the pages aren’t they? The title for my about me page is “Welcome to my anti aging blog…” And for the different categories, the titles are the different categories ?? So how do you mean they are not displayed on the pages?

And if I want to make these titles H1, how do I do that?

I do want my header for my pages such as categories. But I do not need on my about me page.

    1) Great thank you!

    2) About your answer: Reply: Page titles are separate, and must not contain tags. Tags are used to separate your content from one topic and the other and must be entered (only) for articles.

But on my blog posts my page titles are the same as the H1, are they not?

    3) Ok got you. So if I disable the header on that post I can then make the headline a H1 tag. But how do I do that? And as in question no 2 above, then it will be the same as the page title am I right?

    Best regards

Yes sure. I updated them a little ??

    1) Just to be 100 % sure. All blog posts must from now on be without the header in order to not get double H1?

    2) You say my pages have two H1 right now? How is that possible if they had zero H1 before I added the H1 tag in the header?

And I have separate titles for my pages have I not? I mean the headlines of the pages. Are they not having a tag at all? Such as a page title tag?

    3) I saw your picture. But I would like to not change the header. I would like that long headline of my about me -page to be the H1. Is that possible? And does that mean that the H1 and the page title will be the same thing? Just as it is (I hope) with the blog posts?

I am sorry, I do not understand anything of that :-/ And I did not get answers to my questions? Could you please help me understand this since I am am very confused now and that is why I need those specific answers to sort things out ??

Now I have even more questions when you mention the menu and reference . But I will sort that out after ??

    Hi again,

    1) I had forgotten to disable the header on that new blog post. But now I have. So all blog posts must from now on be without the header in order to not get double H1?

    2) You say my pages have two H1 right now? How is that possible if they had zero H1 just a few minutes ago? ?? Now I don’t understand.

And I have separate titles for my pages have I not?

    3) I saw your picture. But I would like to not change the header. I would like that long headline of my about me -page to be the H1. IS that not possible? And is that headline the page title as it is now? THat is good right?

    Thread Starter ayoungerskin

    (@ayoungerskin)

Ok great so now I understand a bit more ??

So my blog posts are then ok ??
Just a quick question so I understand. If I were to activate the header on the blog posts. Does that mean I would have two H1? In that case I will never activate the header of course. Just good to know.

About the pages though. Your first option you mean I should create a separate header for each of them, and put a specific H1 tag on them each? I prefer not to if that is the case.

Your second option then sounds better. So then my next questions would be how I hide the title on those pages. And don’t they already have their own page title? Isn’t for example “contact” the page title?

    (@ayoungerskin)

Thank you! But now I am even more confused :-/ Sorry about that. But I need to understand.

I have changed the tag in Elementor to be H1. So if I understand correctly my homepage now has the H1 tag “A Younger Skin” ?

But what about the other pages? Contact, about me etc. Do you mean they have the same H1 tag as my home page? Should they not have their own H1 and can’t that be the same as the headline for each page?

When it comes to my blogposts I think (And truly hope!!) that my page title is the same as the headline and that that is also the H1 for each blog post. Am I correct?
(And FYI) the blog posts do not have the header).

But I keep getting reports that my pages (all of them) are missing H1 tag.

Now I am really confused… and when it comes to my blog posts, I hope those have the correct H1 tag that is the same as the headline and site title?

    Hi again,

Just a friendly reminder. How is it going?

    Thread Starter ayoungerskin

    (@ayoungerskin)

Ok so that will give my home page an H1. I will fix it via Elementor.

But what about my other regular pages? I do not want the header to give the same H1 as my homepage on my other pages. On a specific page, I want the headline to be the H1. How do I make that happen?

    Best regards
    Ann

    Thread Starter ayoungerskin

    (@ayoungerskin)

Well I had two original questions. So yes one of them was how to get a H1 on my homepage. In other words, how I could get the title of the logo (A Younger Skin) to be H1. And that should only apply on my Homepage.

The other pages (I am mostly concerned about the “about me”-page, since the other pages are just contact, disclosure etc) I would need a H1 tag too since they are missing one.
And the reason there are no H1 tag on my pages (If I understood correctly) is because I have page title option in customizer set to “p”. And the reason I have that setting is because I DO NOT want the text BLOG so show on my blog posts.

And regarding my blog posts they have H1 tags (if I understand correctly) and that is the same as the headline/page title ??

So now I just want to have my regular pages with H1 too.

    Thread Starter ayoungerskin

    (@ayoungerskin)

But again, I was instructed (by your support) to add the “p” at that option. Since I do not want the word “BLOG” to appear on my blog posts.

So with that situation, which is explained in this conversation now several times. How can I solve this so that I have H1 on pages, without having the word BLOG on my blogposts?

    Best regards

Thank you for your reply ??

So in customizer and page title, mine is set as “p”. Not sure what that means but I remember getting help with removing the text “BLOG” on my blog posts. So I think this was due to that.

Now If I want to add an H1 tag, how do I do that in gutenburg? I am not sure I understood ?? And when I go to the page edit and mark the headline, there is no option to add or change any heading tag.

    Best regards
