I think I took it out, but now i am totally lost…..the rap border isnt working , and im not too sure where I am supposed to put the image…in the css header? how will i make it link back to home? I appreciate your help

Thanks root, but that didnt work eiter…it did the same as the padding and just pushed the whole site down….

I am using posts_nav_link() , any tips on how to edit it?

Thanks Root, but that didnt work…..I did learn that the . before logo or whatever defines it as a class (I couldnt figure out why the padding wasnt doing anything at first so I put a # before it, then found the . is the key) so thats cool.
Anyway, that just added a padding between the rap border and the top of the logo…
Any other suggestions?
And thanks for the compliment…its been a long hard lesson, but made easier by NSX and Laughing Lizzard and others on here

Hey LL : I cant figure out how (if possible) I can remove the thumbnails from the index page and have them just show up in the archives.
Also, whenever I go to edit a post, when I save it, it publishes it a second time, any ideas?
Also, can I title a post but not have the title show up on the site? I just want to title it so I have a reference in the edit.php page.

Also, I can upload the photos no problem, but then their permissions are so low (excuse my ignorance) that they will not post, so I have to go into my sites control panel and set tmen to 777…is there anyway to specify this?

hell ya that looks nice!
One thing that took me a second to figure out though is clicking on the photo or the VIEW PHOTOS link just takes you to a page that has the same smalll photo. If maybe clicking the link could take the visitor straight to the big version it would be simpler?

I’m really happy with Pictorials too and feel that it is perfect for mine and many others need. Once again thanks LaughingLizard for using your time to make Pictorials!

Thanks again man! I did it and I thik i will use it even though there seems to be a part on the already posted photos that have a somewhat transparent white border but in a few months i wont even have to look at those busters….Im just trying to take Mindful Musings advice here:

Thanks nsx…I have added a 1px white border and a 1px black border outside of it to my photos, can I do those two borders with the .center? But if not, I should change my index.php to reflect center2 and delete center? And with the others you said I can delete, if deleted will it speed up the load time of my page? Is that how css works, somewhat? (remember this is all new to me) Thanks man!

Hell ya man, thanks for your help and for making that Pictorials….I just have one more questions.
When I use the UPLOAD tab and I upload the photo and thumbnail, it sets the prmissions to -rw——– instead of 777 or whatever, so the image wont show up unless i change it manually…is there a way to chmod it when it uploads or something to change in a .php?

ok now onto the background you commented on…I thought I got everything from the Mindful Musings site and did the upgrade.php so what do I do now to rid it of your background?
And I didnt touch the index.php before the validation got messed up, except for adding your class tag….I just copy and pasted the original code (everything before the body, and it still doesnt work….does it really matter though?
