It’s basically auto resizing some photos but not others…why is this?

Ron, Thank you so much for responding! I’ve checked my math, and know that the slider should be 750px. It’s set in Slider settings to be 750 x 500. However, there’s just a sliver of the previous slide showing on the left still. When I use Firebug to look at the code, it says each pic is 710px and when I change that number to 750px the slider looks fine! However, I can’t find that 710px ANYWHERE in the code. The sidebar on Firebug says element{
width: 710px blah blah blah, but for the life of me can’t find that 710 anywhere AT ALL. Going crazy!~

I’ve now adjusted the slider from slide to fade…but the slides “jump” to the left a tad after they show…what in the world?

i removed the arrow, so that’s fixed…but why are my slides off at the left side?

still nothing has worked…tried using that as the selector and giving a different size to just that area. Still small. ARGH! Any suggestions?

I’ve tried to track down the CSS for it, but all I can find is:

.footer-widgets-1,
.footer-widgets-2,
.footer-widgets-3,
.sidebar,
#header .widget-area {
width: 30.555555555%; /* 352px / 1152px */
}

If I change the .widget-area to 75% or anything bigger than 30%, the sidebar widens and pushes all widgets to the bottom.

What do I need to do so I can separate it out?

Thanks for finding that. problem is, that code is attached to the sidebar widget code, so changing that to 50% or whatever, moves my sidebar widgets to the bottom. ARGH! It HAS to be a separate code somewhere. Frustrated!

sorry…yes, the genesis responsive slider…should I post in a different area since it’s a plugin?

If I remove this code from header.php::

the header is just ONE with links in tact, however, my genesis slider is all wonky and every single grid post is all misaligned.

I added my image map code here: Dashboard –> Genesis –> Theme Settings –> Header

Then, I added this code in header.php:

Yes, I’m able to login…I updated it via the updater – should I manually reinstall via my cpanel? Will that remove the blog completely? It’s a friend’s blog….and I don’t want to have to remove unless I totally have to.
