In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] cannot open the settings tabThis is clearly a bug introduced in a recent update, but I found a workaround. Instead of following the instructions to click on the “settings” link (you’ll get the “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page” error), point at “Events” in the Dashboard menu on the left and “Activate” should appear — click on “Activate” to be taken to the activation page, on which you can create your free account, etc. The Activate URL looks like this: …/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=ai1ec_event&page=all-in-one-event-calendar-activate
And no, @effi I don’t think that creating an account on “late.ly” would be all that helpful, although you’ll learn something about one of the WordPress founders. ??

In reply to: [Hestia] Hestia Theme Can’t edit Contact SectionAppearance > Customize > Frontpage Sections > Contact > Contact Content > (Edit)
After you click on the (Edit) link need to be sure to use the Text editor, not the Visual editor. You should be able to edit the HTML for the left side of the Contact area there.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Google Calendar not refreshingNo, we’re still struggling with possibly upgrading to a paid calendar, such as “Journey” from Time.ly (aka “Web App”), which I think is an embed, rather than a native WordPress plugin. We only received an initial response from Time.ly to our problem report about event updates not populating to subscribers, and it was mostly that we should consider the Web App instead.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] How do you get helpRichard,
I think you might have posted this in the wrong place. This is a support forum for a calendar plug-in, not for website searches. I visited the site and am seeing the search box and the lack of results upon submitting a search, but it’s not clear that it’s a Google-related form action. Are you the webmaster for DearMarty.com?

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Major Bug in monthly view !Thanks for the test, Steffen, but when I do the same thing, it’s not happening to me. You might need to do some troubleshooting, first disabling all other plugins temporarily, and then executing a similar test.
I’m not an All-in-One Event Calendar expert, and am having some unrelated problems, such as using Google Maps and the subscription feature to my personal Google Calendar.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Exclude checkbox doesn’t workDid you set a “Repeat” patter first? I just added a test event happening weekly on Wednesdays, then checked the Exclude box and a window popped up allowing me to set “Custom” exclude dates, so I excluded Dec. 25, saved the event, and it worked. If you posted your step-by-step process to the “doesn’t work” step, that might be helpful.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Major Bug in monthly view !I just entered a test multi-day event with those dates on an All-in-One Event Calendar and it’s displaying properly in all views. It might help if you give a step-by-step sequence that others could follow to try to reproduce the error. I clicked to add a new event, selected the “All-day event” option, set the dates to 19-26 September 2019 and saved. Then I viewed both the Week and Month views for that time period (I have the default view for Desktop set to Month) and it appeared correctly.
Thanks for responding, @rclary

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] How do you get helpThere’s a Time.ly Support contact form (with a WordPress plugin choice) on this page:
https://time.ly/calendar-user-guide
Phone and email support are limited to their (paying) “Web app” calendar users and that support tickets for WordPress plugin users can take about 7 days for responses. They also state that:
If you’re a WordPress Plugin user, help is still available in the Timely community
but they don’t link to the “community” — do you suppose they mean here, in the plugin support forum?
Changes made to our WordPress plugin calendar’s events are no longer populating to the Google Calendar system, so I submitted a ticket 4 days ago and the initial response (which appears to have marked the Zendesk-based ticket at “Solved”) was that they will “strive to get back to you” but then they suggested I upgrade to the paid Web app calendars (i.e., not the WordPress plugin).
Apparently those of you who pay for the Extended Views upgrade are still only entitled to the same level of support as the free plugin users.
Looks like @rclary got it fixed, as the map is now working at the link provided. How did it get fixed? (for those who experience the same error)

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Google Calendar not refreshingI’m having the same issue as @linco — when I make changes to an event in the website-plugin-based calendar (such as an exception to a recurring event), the change doesn’t make it to those who have subscribed to the feed in Google Calendar. I logged into our Time.ly account dashboard, but there aren’t any tools there connected with the free website calendar plugin (other than a link to our website in the “Calendars connected to Timely API” section at the bottom with “No available actions”). Any ideas about how to resolve this? (I’m about to submit a “Problem” report using the “Get Help” link in the Time.ly dashboard)

In reply to: [OceanWP] Used to be brilliant :(The Ocean Sticky Header plugin also went from $9.99 to $29.99, and when I tried asking about it (because the official plugin page still listed the price at $9.99 — I have a Google cache capture), I received no response. I was hoping to use OceanWP for a number of projects, but I don’t think I’ll be doing that now.
@dansethjo Have you tried “My Sticky Menu”? I have a new site I’m working on and when I installed OceanWP, it tells me that I should install Ocean Sticky Header, but when I click through, although it says the price should be $9.99, when I keep going, it’s apparently been raised to $29.99! So I installed “My Sticky Menu” instead and so far, it’s working:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/mystickymenu/
I’m going to open a new forum topic about Ocean Sticky Header.
On a new site I’m working on, I have Version 2.2.1 installed with Elementor using the OceanWP theme and it’s working. I haven’t tried it with Elementor + another theme, however.

In reply to: [Hestia] Social media iconsThanks (and I see that an “r” was missing from “jarretc” which is why I couldn’t find it). I tried all the code and just the “.hestia-top-bar” part and it still isn’t working on this site, no matter whether the navigation “Menu Icons” option in Orbit Fox are turned on or off. I see that it’s working on your site, so there must be something different on ours that’s preventing the fix from working.
