Hello Rafael,
Pardon our delay in replying to your query. We just got back from our vacation. Now here’s the thing –
Leaving a 1-star review for receiving a refund is a classic and shameful act for any individual out there. We were already having a conversation where we were deliberately in communication with your issue. The issue you’ve mentioned wasn’t happening on our end.
When we couldn’t find and replicate your issue from our end, we asked for your site’s access. When you denied it, we even asked for a staging site from yours but you didn’t help us find the issue you mentioned. You also denied that request and left us no option to replicate or troubleshoot the issue that was happening specifically on your site. Besides the issue you mentioned was a free feature and it had nothing to do with the Pro version of our plugin.
We didn’t even agree or disagree on whether we would process the refund or not cause we were still in the middle of the conversation where we were still requesting you to provide us access to your live site or a staging site.
Then again you reached us with a different query after you gave this 1-star review.
Lastly, in your review, you said ‘I have asked for a refund, I hope they will allow the refund and I will update my post if allowed.’What does that mean?
Are you holding us hostage and demanding a refund as ransom? We believe this is unethical and not supported by WordPress support community guidelines. Please do not misuse your power in defaming us.
Paul,
I’m sorry to say that conversing with you feels akin to engaging with a contradictory teenager. No one here has made any demands or threats towards you. We simply requested you to answer some very simple, relevant questions. Clearly, you’re unable to communicate on a human level, and at this point, we’re not expecting any reasonable response from you.
Thanks for providing your opinion. We’ll leave it for the public to decide.
I’m pleased to hear that, Bouke! ?? Wishing you great success with your events!
Thank you!
Hello @boukekoning,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We truly value the input of our users, and I’m genuinely sorry to hear about the frustration you’ve experienced due to the changes in our plugin.
Software development is indeed a dynamic process, with the landscape continuously evolving. As we strive to improve and adapt our plugin to meet the diverse needs of our user base, sometimes functionalities might change or be adapted. We always aim to ensure that these changes result in a more efficient and user-friendly experience. However, we understand that, at times, this might not always align with the individual use cases of all our users.
It’s concerning to hear that the issue you flagged hasn’t been resolved in a timely manner, especially after you’ve been informed that it would be fixed. We take such concerns very seriously and will double down on our efforts to address this. Additionally, we’ll review our change log communication process to ensure that any changes, especially those affecting key functionalities, are clearly documented. Rest assured, a new update has been released that resolves the issue you encountered.
Please know that your feedback is instrumental in helping us improve. While bugs and issues can be an inherent part of software development, it’s the feedback from dedicated users like you that helps us identify and rectify them efficiently.
Again, I hate you had that experience, and would love the chance to earn back your trust.
Glad to hear your experience, and thank you for the great review ??
Hello @samueljacques222,
That’s definitely not the experience we like for our users to have. We clearly mentioned the Free features, as well as the Paid features on the plugin page. I’m not sure how you found that deceiving, but I strongly disagree with your statement. I’d really appreciate it if you explain what we said was “free” but it’s actually a “paid” feature.
Thank you, @qiuyuanyuan ??
Hello @kilazer,
Thanks for reaching out, and I’m so sorry for the delayed response here.
This should work perfectly with the latest version too, we’ve tested and couldn’t replicate the issue as you mentioned. I’m assuming this could be a site specific or payment gateway specific issue. Could you please open a support ticket here so that we can take a closer look?
Looking forward to helping you get to the bottom of this, asap.
Thank you for bringing this issue to my attention. We will test it and resolve it in the next update.
Regarding the PHP warnings on PHP 8.0+, it is common for new PHP versions and there’s nothing to worry about.
