In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Preview mode usageI am also confused by this.
So if i hit “disable”, does that make all my settings “live”? Or do I have to hit DEPLOY, and then DISABLE the preview mode?
I’m not sure about the work flow, but I would definitely have a SAVE or MAKE LIVE button of some sort, so it’s clear that your changes are now LIVE and not merely “disabled” or in “preview” mode.

In reply to: [Lifestream] [Plugin: Lifestream] Widget Doesn't WorkThis is my site if it helps: https://gfishdesigns.com/cms/week-1/
Thanks Andre, that actually did work for awhile, but now Im running into another issue:
Anytime I try an email-subscription from the subscription widget I get the “Error. Resend confirmation email failed” message.
On the other hand, the email gets send, but the confirmation process
also fails. The error message is: “ERROR # 5 (unknown user) ! Check
you are using the appropriate link.”I didn’t have a problem with this a few months ago, but all of a
sudden it has stopped working. (The newsletter sends fine to the
people that are already subscribed, I just can subscribe as a new user anymore)I am using the:
Connection_php_mail
Newsletter
and
Newsletter_CategoriesPlug ins. I’m not sure why I am getting this error, but I cannot seem
to the find a solution anywhere that has helped me out.my site is https://www.honeycombcreative.com
I am having the same issue. It was working the last time I used it (a few months ago) and now I’m getting all of the errors mentioned above
Yes very true.
Fortunately I don’t really need that functionality (however it would be nice to have), so pretty much any other twitter plug-in will work. haha.
Let hope the creator comes up with a fix soon ?? Or someone else make some competition!
Cheers
Ha, I just got your message, and at the same time I got this error from guess where?
Warning: require_once() [function.require-once]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(twitteroauth.php) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/honey:/usr/lib/php:/usr/php4/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/usr/local/php4/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/honey/public_html/cms/wp-content/plugins/twitter-tools/twitter-tools.php on line 1518
Fatal error: Can’t load twitteroauth.php, open_basedir restriction. in /home/honey/public_html/cms/wp-content/plugins/twitter-tools/twitter-tools.php on line 1518
So I guess my error is a little different, but I get it at least once a day, and my users will also see this error. I even get this error when I’m trying to backup my site. So I’m thinking Im going to switch to “twitter widget pro”
I have been getting the same error. It does not happen all the time, just randomly.
I do not have the other plugin that you mentioned installed (FeedWordPress), so I dont think that is the issue.
Still have not found a fix…I’m thinking of scrapping the plugin and finding a new one.
Wow…nvm, I AM blind…..lol
Hey, I just downloaded your plug-in, and I don’t know if I’m blind, but I can’t seem to find a list of optional tags that you can add in?
I would like the featured image of the post to show up with the content. Just not sure how to do this. (And how would I set the size to auto)
I don’t really want a thumbnail to begin with, I just want the regular sized image (as I’ve made them small enough to fit). But the thumbnail box defaults to 50×50 if you leave it blank.
I will check out your plug-in. Does it use the featured image? or just a thumbnail from the post, because I’m trying to grab the featured image of the post (without resizing it or anything).
Well, I put in my Jquery, and it breaks the featured articles. I take it out, and the featured articles works. So to me that means it doesn’t play nice with Jquery. I’m not going to put it in right now, as Im working on the site, and I’m not going to leave something purposely broken.
These are the scripts I have that break your plugin if that helps you
<script type="text/javascript" src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.3.2/jquery.min.js" ></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.5.3/jquery-ui.min.js" ></script> <script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/jquery.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
Hmmm…it seems that this plug-in will not run with any sort of JQuery on the site. Is this statement correct?
Plug-in: Version 2.2.0
WordPress: Version 3.2.1
MYSQL: Version 5.0.92-community
PHP: Version 5.2.11exact error that is returned: There is no “error” returned, it just reloads the page, and does nothing. Aka, does not register the person.
As of today…it seems to be working? The only thing I changed was downgrading a plugin that I was using…however I am going to have to upgrade that plugin again, and then this will (I assume) break again. It’s the “Another WordPress Classifieds Plugin (AWPCP)” right now I am using Version 1.8.9.2, and I believe it’s version 1.8.9.3 that breaks the registration for Cimy.
