Thank you – that fixed it.

Maybe it should be fixed also in the documentation. I validated that the permissions were 755 as was instructed. But as you indicated they should be 777.

I realy need to create password protected pages.

Can anyone direct me to any clue on how to resolve this issue?

I just checked – it’s the same with all other pages as well.

When I add a password to any page I cannot access it, it requests the password over and over.

URGENT! Please help!!

Problem back again. I removed the page completely and re-created it as a public page. everything worked fine.

Now I made it password protected again and the same problem occurs. It just requests the password endlessly.

I’m sure it has something to do with changing the website URL but I don’t know what.
my .htaccess file is empty (excpet for the start/end WordPress tags). if that’s any clue.

Is there somthing I’m missing?

Took me sometime to check what you menat.
I’ve changed the Permalinks structure and saved changes. The URL is now shown with the pages names, such as: https://friendlygreenplanet.com/contact/

Problem still persists.

Anything else you can think about?
