In reply to: My site is painfully slow.Hmm… Ok I got this problem right. Simply deleted part of the permalink (%C2%BB) that was problematic.
But still, my blog is so slow. I really would appreciate some help.
Thanks a lot!

In reply to: My site is painfully slow. And another strange thing: when I write a comment on this page https://lelectronlibre.net/index.php/2008/09/06/%C2%AB-je-sais-comment-fonctionne-le-monde-%C2%BB/%20#comments
I get a 404 error message after the comment is written.
So weird.

In reply to: My site is painfully slow.@myinstinct: I had a lot of trouble changing from ISO-8859-1 to UTF-8 and some part is still in the first one and others in the second one. Could this affect the speed of the site?
I tried the validator, but in UTF-8 it reported an error and in ISO-8859 it reported numerous errors.
What do you think I could do to speed up my site?
Thanks!

In reply to: My site is painfully slow.By optimizing, you mean decreasing the quality of the image, right? Would people notice this?
But is it seriously possible that things like images can slow down the pages like this?
What else can I do, besides throwing the .js files to garbage?
Would something like super-cache plugin help me?
Thanks a lot!

In reply to: Unable to find my feeds!OMG I am so stupid. I tried to run the RSS while I was in maintenance mode. LOL
BTW, is it possible to arrange the bad characters that feedvalidator returns? I use french characters, so maybe there is a conversion problem… How to use them in my utf-8 blog and to use them in RSS?
Thanks!

In reply to: Unable to find my feeds!Hmm… Even feedburner does not recognize this. It says this is not a valid feed. So strange.
What can be the reason for this, and is there a place to modify this information or to be sure of the feed name?

In reply to: Unable to find my feeds!Hi,
Strangely enough, https://domain.com/?feed=rss2 seems to work with google reader but Feed Validator says it is not a feed, so I wonder if it will work for others. Any clue as to why it works on google reader and not on feed validator?
Thanks!
For the record, here is how I dealed with this:
1) I recovered my old database from a bacukp;
2) I reinstalled everything and imported what was missing…All this trouble!
Thanks!
And now something new: when I try log in, I get the message: “ERROR: WordPress requires Cookies but your browser does not support them or they are blocked.”
But of course my cookies and browser should be ok and it works anywhere else… So Strange.
Hmmm… Right now when I connect I see the site, normally, but when I try to log to wp-admin, after I enter the name + password I get the blank page with
???
again.
What can cause this?
I see that strange symbol in the upper left corner of the screen:
???
and the rest is blank.
So strange.
Hi,
I reinstalled on the same server, with the new version… I should try with the old one?
But anyway, I got to a point where it said that it was already installed. That’s where I was stucked.

In reply to: WordPress Import Not WorkingI have the same problem. I splitted the files, but for some reason only part of the file is imported. Very strange bug.
