Deactivating the Fast Velocity Minify plugin does resolve the issue, but it’s not a solution. It’s just putting a band-aid over the problem.

In reply to: [Ad Injection] Version 1.2.0.17 disables my wordpress visual editorI’m not sure what version I was using before. I did deactivate the Ad Injection plugin and the issue was resolved.
When I downgraded to .16 the issue was still present. Now I’m using version .14 and it’s working fine.

In reply to: WordPress 4.0 Issue: Issue w/ Insert/Edit Link in Visual EditorI wanted to let you all know that I did fix the problem. You were right, @samuel — the issue was the cache, but I had forgotten that I use CloudFlare. All appears to be well after purging the cache in Cloudflare.
Thank you very much for your assistance.

In reply to: WordPress 4.0 Issue: Issue w/ Insert/Edit Link in Visual EditorThe Chrome Empty Cache and Hard Reload command didn’t do anything. . I also tried logging in and editing in an incognito window and I still can’t use the link button.
I did have another person on my team also try the same thing on her browser on a different computer and she’s having the same issue.

In reply to: WordPress 4.0 Issue: Issue w/ Insert/Edit Link in Visual Editor@jose, the issue still existed when I switched to the twenty fourteen theme with no plugins activated. I don’t have any other themes installed. Do you recommend that I install a random theme to see if the issue is still there on a third theme?
I’m running Genesis version 2.1.2

In reply to: WordPress 4.0 Issue: Issue w/ Insert/Edit Link in Visual Editor@samuel well, that stinks. I use wp Super Cache, but I’m not sure what you mean by try “extra-hard” to clear the cache. Is there something else I should do besides the delete cache button?
