Hello,
I am sorry for the delay in response.
If it is a different website where you want to restore that backup then.
Make sure the backup you created a backup of both directories and database. If even one is not present then the migration will break. If you are using a remote location then you will need to add that location and sync it. We have given the option to sync in the Backup history tab and in the Add Backup location form.
If you created a backup on a local folder then what you need to do is copy the backup from oldwesbsite/wp-content/backuply/backups/yourbackupfile.tar.gz to newwesbsite/wp-content/backuply/backups/
And you need to copy the info file too which would be of the same name as the backup file with .PHP extension and will be located in oldwebsite/wp-content/backuply/backups-info.
Once you do that you will find the backup in your backup history tab and you have to click restore and wait for the restore to complete.Do let us know if you need further assistance

In reply to: [Backuply - Backup, Restore, Migrate and Clone] Restore stuck 61%Hello,
We are sorry that you were not able to migrate it with Backuply.
Would it be possible for you to send us a screenshot of the Backup History tab with the list of backups you were trying to migrate?
And if possible check the error logs. They are most probably present in the Error Wizard on your control panel.Your input will be highly helpful for us and other users.

Would you please tell, if you took the backup of both database and directories?
Because when migrating you will need both database and directories else the website will crash.Forum: Plugins

Sure, and would you tell us the version of WordPress and PHP you are using? And if you have access to your Control Panel then do check if there is an error log that might give us clue why it got stuck.

In reply to: [Backuply - Backup, Restore, Migrate and Clone] Very proud of itselfHello,
We are sorry for the inconvenience.
So the thing is, upgrading to pro is just a promo. There is no compulsion to upgrade. The version you are using will work even if you don’t upgrade to Pro.
There are some specific features one of which you mentioned like automated backups and some more of them are only available for Pro users. And automated backup was never a part of the free version.Any other feedback you have do let us know.
Thank you.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused and the delay in response.
Will it be possible for you to turn on WordPress debug mode and then try to create backup. And if the backup fails again then please check the error log. We can get some information on why the backup is getting stuck there in the logs.
Thank you,

In reply to: [Backuply - Backup, Restore, Migrate and Clone] Stops restoring at 80%Hello,
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
The step you are getting stuck at is after your backup has been restored. So you don’t need to Restore it again. You can just kill the process. And you will see your Backup has been restored.
Would you let us know how long did it got stuck there because that step takes a while.
As what it does is it checks if there is a serialization issue in the database. If you are just restoring then you can just kill it your Restore is complete. Fixing serialization is only useful if you are migrating as the URL changes. So you don’t have to worry your Backup has been restored. We will investigate to find out why it is getting stuck at that step and will release a fix soon.
Thank you
