Your right about the syndication feeds. And also, im not using the latest version of wordpress (thought i was) im using 2.3. When i got to write apost i do not see the “more” tab. Im not using the visual tag editor because there is no abc checker and i dont see any more tag. I think you are missing the point of my question, i already have a bunch of articles published on my site, i want to modify it so that snipplets will appear on the homepage. If you can give me a plugin that can automate this that would be great, if not, then tell me how i can edit past posts so that teaser articles will show on my homepage.

Hey moshu im really confused by your response as i didnt see any more tah when i opened up my write sub panel, is there something im missing? Ina ddition, what i did was logged intow ordpress, clicked on options an dthen redaing scrolled down and saw an option that will allow me to show a summary of my post. I updated it, but i guess teh effects will only take place with new blog posts? Take care.

Ok, how do i find all of the syntax that is used for wordpress, because if i disable the wysiwyg editor then that would mean i have to manually format the text which is fine with me, i just need to know wordpress syntaz so i can style my writing. For example i know that bo is <b></b> but would like a list of them so that i can play around with them. A url to this would be much appreciated.

Mistake found. File name was .htaccess.txt, should of just been .htaccess.

Is anyone else having a similar promblem. >htaccess filed was added, the file was updated to 666, ,htaccess file updated and still not luck.

No, im running on Linux. I edited the .htaccess file so that it was 666, but still no luck, strange. Do i have to make changes to the code that wordpress gave me?

Thanks. Ok, so i uploaded it as an text file and then copy and pasted the code that wordpress gave to me but it still said that i need to update my .htacess file. Which part of it should i edit, and what exactly do i need to make it editable? The number 666? Thanks.

Woa, strange. One promblem solved, another one fixed. It seemed like i did domething extra, i traced the url of the wordpress folder on my server and it was a little different then the one its suppose to be. It had the word wordpress in it twice. Here is the default blog post:https://www.badcreditslayer.com/wordpress/wordpress/?p=1

Err, but i wanted the blog to appear on my homepage badcreditslayer.com. Should i just rename the wordpress folder in the previous screenshot that i showed?

Hi, yes i purchased it earlier this week around Tuesday and changed name servers to point to my host a day later. the name servers changed, but pehaps im missing something :(?
