In reply to: [Recent Posts Widget Extended] Custom css problem after upgradeIt does work (without resaving), however if you have multiple widget, you have to apply the same style to all of them.
For example, I have 7 in my side bar, to remove the border around thumbs I had to set: border: 0px under .rpwe-thumb in all 7 widgets.Unfortunately captacha doesn’t work with the italian IPs. WF is still registering attempts of unauthorized log ins. I think that they are trying to log in bypassing the log in page. It might be usefully for less sophisticated attacks.
No, I don’t. Double check your plugins, may be one of them allows them to log in with blank user name.
That’s strange, usually when you attempt to log in without user name wp gives an error:
ERROR: The username field is empty.I’m not, because I don’t need Italian traffic. The IP ranges above belong to compromised Italian networks.
Besides, although this has been brought to their attention number of times, it seems like they don’t care. Why should I, I just block’em. It works for me.
Here is more IP range to block if anyone is interested:

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] External Pages Code QuestionJust to give you a heads up, after reinstalling everything works fine.
I’m thinking about buying your Heatmap plugin, but before I do that I need to know the impact it would have on my VPS server. Your website doesn’t provide too much info. Could you please elaborate more on this subject.
Thanks,
Marek

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] External Pages Code QuestionOK. Thanks, I’m assuming that after reinstalling the plugin everything should work fine. If it doesn’t I’ll be back ??

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] External Pages Code QuestionThanks, understand the ‘ci’s. I’m not tracking any pages outside of WordPress
How about the difference between these two files ?wp-slimstat.min.js
wp-slimstat.jsunder script type. Is it normal?

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] External Pages Code QuestionThanks for the reply,
I did see that message thought it would be taken care of automatically but it didn’t. I don’t use any caching plugin.
I just reinstalled it and it still inserts this:
<script type=’text/javascript’ src=’https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/wp/wp-slimstat/trunk/wp-slimstat.min.js’>
instead of this
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/wp/wp-slimstat/trunk/wp-slimstat.js”></script>
and the “ci” doesn’t match what’s under ‘Add the following code to all the non-WP pages you want to track’

In reply to: [Affiliate Super Assistent] Star rating images questionI got a reply from the author on his forum. If anyone is interested here it is:
Sure, use placeholder {$AverageRating}. It keeps a numeric value of the average rating, like “4.2”.
You just have to create some image for every possible number, like stars-4.2.png, stars-4.3.png, stars-4.4.png and so on and place them on your server. Then use the placeholder like this:
<img src=”public/path/on/your/server/stars-{$AverageRating}.png”>Monika, for previous versions click on ‘Developers’
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/google-analytics-dashboard-for-wp/developers/
I’m using version 4.3.9
Remove current version and install the one you want. Reactivate with GA. And you’re done ??
Cheers,
Marek
You can do it from your dashboard. Under ‘Google Analytics Dashboard’ heading there is a drop-down menu.
Actually that feature was very useful in identifying correct spamer’s domain and blocking them in GA. Those darodar dot com often had different title then their url. That’s another reason why I switched back to previous version.
