Thank you for the detailed explanation. I will try WF caching in the future. Right now I’m having a lot of issues with other plugin(s) blocking search bots and WF live traffic view is the only way for me to see if they have proper access to my website.

Just you give some feedback. Your latest integration with yoast wordpress seo maybe causing your plugin not work properly. The latest update of yoast seo which was around the same time as W3TC doesn’t create proper sitemap. Lots of post and pages missing. This also slows down page load seed. Based on my tests, the posts and pages that yoast seo didn’t map were never cached and it took forever to fetch them using google webmaster tools often resulting in ‘temporarily unavailable’. I have downgraded W3TC to 0.9.3 and switched to different sitemap plugin and things seems to work. All my posts/pages are mapped and cached properly. It takes a 1.5 sec. to fetch a page/post that had not been cached yet and 0.5 if it’s cached. And I don’t even have the ‘prime the cache’ feature turn on.
Don’t ask me to submit a bug report because I have wasted enough time trying to sort things out. Take it or leave it. I’m giving it another shot based on past performance. All the best.

Two more questions:

Does the wordfence build in cache feature offer cache pre-loading? or does it require site visitors (wp-cron dependent) to trigger it ?

Is there any way to have wordfence cache on without switching live traffic off ?

Thanks for the reply. I’m using another caching plugin. I was asking because when it’s off I see a lot of google activity, when it’s on very little.

The damage has been done. What do I need you for? Do you expect me to sit and watch my site lose more rankings while you investigate? I got rig of your plugin the moment I learnt in was the source of the problem.

I just saw a related post in the support thread ( massive amount of 403 Forbidden Errors for Googlebot ) which confirms that Total Cache has TOTALLY screw up my google rankings.

The risk of using it is too big, at least for me. Wouldn’t touch it with a 10 foot pole.

P.S. To give you more info regarding the issue I was having, I was basically in an endless loop being redirected from widgets to edit page. The message was “…all sidebars have been locked…..” I’m using iTheme Builder if it helps.
I did google the “all sidebars have been locked” unfortunately couldn’t find a an answer.

Based on my experience with your free version, I wouldn’t trust you with paid one! …support…what a joke !

Just to give you heads up, I switched back to java few hour ago and it seems to work now.
