I have just updated WP to 4.2, Polylang and WooCommerce and the cart and checkout pages are not translated anymore…

What could be the issue here?

So far I didn’t edit any files. I just followed the video in the link that you gave me. I just replaced the ” WooCommerce” folder in my theme by the “template” folder provided by WooCommerce. Then I renamed it “WooCommerce”.

Should I edit my theme’s files directly? I don’t really know how to do it…

The WooCoomerce template files were indeed overriding by the theme. So I followed the instructions on the link you gave me. And the strings are properly translated but here’s what happens :

There’s no way to translate these strings without breaking the theme design?

Quick update; The links are now working. I just switched to : The language is set from the directory name in pretty permalink.

But there is still 3 strings which are translated in the po and mo files, that won’t translate on the webpage.

I actually found one of the string which is not translated in the site. However this string is perfectly translated in the PO file. What could be the issue?

Ok, so I looked through the po file with poedit, but I can’t find the missing the sentences that needs to be translated. Also, the links are not redirecting towards french pages…

Hi Leemon! Thanks a thousand time! It works! Well, there’s still some issue :

As you can see the total and shipping section on the right aren’t translated. Some products variations aren’t translated as well. Most importanly the green messages are still in english and their links send you to an english page.

Have you find a way to fix this up? Also on the check out pages there is some translation mistake, is it possible to fix it manually?

Wow Leemon, thanks a thousand time! It finally works :)! But it doesn’t translate everything :

You’ll see what I mean in this picture :

As you can see the ” Total “, the Shipping section and the green messages are still not translated. The links always send to the english pages, even though these links are on a french page. I also would like to be able to correct some translation mistakes manually…

At the risk of sounding stupid, no I didn’t. Wouldn’t erase the english version though?

Leemon, I got rid of the first ” WC Polylang Integration” plugin and I don’t get the ” Fatal Error message and my products description are still in French. So I guess your plugin works, but the Cart, the Checkout page and their links are still in English. Where do I change the English Text to the French one?

I went to to the String Translation Tap and I don’t see any fields. I aslo switched to :

OliverHamburg : I translated the category pages with the WooCommerce Polylang Integration plug in. Just go to categories when the plug in is installed and it lets you translate the categories just like a normal page.

” WooPoly” is how I renamed your plug in btw.

Do you think it is because the Woocommerce polyland integration plugin is installed as well?
