Hi Jonas,
Thanks for replying back.
I got in touch with GoDaddy and this is what they replied:“I read through the donations plugin’s documentation and the plugin is not specifically designed to work with GoDaddy Payments either. The plugin claims that it works with over 100 payment method types, but this seems to be another way to state that their plugin may work with the payment plugins that are built for WooCommerce; this doesn’t look to be a guarantee though.”
Is that true that your plugin doesn’t work with GoDaddy Payments?
Hi @stephanieliy, thanks so much writing back. I was out of town last week and I’m just now able to write you back.
The issue occurred with a client site. When she and I talked to Godaddy, they said that the issue was caused by the GiveWP Module plugin. So I deactivated it.
When the issue was occurring, I mostly got this message when trying to save changes to the site or when trying to deactivate plugins:Deprecated: Required parameter $render_slug follows optional parameter $content in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/give-donation-modules-for-
divi/src/Divi/Modules/DonationReceipt/Module.phpon line 148The issue also kept me from saving a Divi page I was working on. Here’s a screenshot of a pop-up that I got when the module plugin was still activated. https://share.cleanshot.com/tQc9tf
Sorry I can’t be more detailed. As you know, these kinds of issues eat up so much time, and I don’t always have the time to go back and forth trying to address them. I typically look for another solution.
Anyway, I know the client is using a the free GiveWP version, so I’m not sure how much support we can on this issue.
Hi, when I get back in office I’ll respond. I’m out of town. Thanks
Hi @matheusfd,
Eventin resolved the conflict. I need to go back and see if it’s still working.
Thanks for checking back with me.Bakari
Hi, yes, I’m using Eventin. But when it doesn’t fully work when I have Givewp activated. The Eventin transaction will go through, but it won’t link to the success page. Any suggestions?

In reply to: [MailPoet - Newsletters, Email Marketing, and Automation] Crom@treibalen, it appears that the issue was caused by WPReset backing up data files were not being deleted. So I had a lot of MailPoet data files get backed up on my server. The tech person I hired to fix
This is what he wrote about MailPoet:
`The new database size was 182.2 MiB and I managed to reduce it to 167.1 MiB
The database size depends on your content and it is not critical anymore. Some
improvements can be made by removing unneeded tables.
I will say Mailpoet tables are the 3 biggest ones, but that can be easily solved by
removing the newsletters you do not need anymore.`It seems that I can still use MailPoet, but I need to watch how it’s contributing to the database size. I’ll keep the cron settings in there to see if it helps.
Thanks for getting back with me.

In reply to: [MailPoet - Newsletters, Email Marketing, and Automation] CromHi, thank you for replying. I went to on SiteGround to see about editing the Cron Job. Right now it’s set to Once Per Hour (0****), so I switched it to Once Per Day (00***). Or should I switch it to Once Per Week? (by the way, in MailPoet Advance settings, it says “frequency running every minute: *1***” Not sure why it says something different in the settings than what I set in SiteGround.
I’m not sure why this is happening all of the sudden. I’ve had MailPoet for like two years now, and for the last few months I haven’t sent out emails using the system.
I’m wondering if I should try to moving my site to another server, like Plesk/Rootpal. I don’t want to use another email service. I like MailPoet.

In reply to: [MailPoet - Newsletters, Email Marketing, and Automation] CromI’m experiencing a similar problem with the SiteGround. I’m experiencing MySQL database limit issues because of MailPoet. I’ve had the sever side cron (Linux cron) scheduler selected for months, but now all of a sudden I’m experiencing the MySQL database limit issues.
So I’m wondering if MailPoet is not a good plugin for SiteGround users?
Hi @bhadaway,
Thanks for the recommendation. I’ll give the Black Hole plugin a try. Can I skip the 7G Firewall if I just use the plugin?
So I should I block the IPs that appear to be bots?
Hmm, the optimization plugins might include SG Optimizer, Heartbeat Control, WP-ServerInfo(?), Stop Spammers, Redirection, and ManageWP which I just deleted. Looks like SG Optimizer is the only cache program.
Sorry for so many questions. I think I might need to upgrade to premium.
So I’m there’s about five crawlers that tried to access my a “non-existent page.” Should I block those IPs? Unfortunately my CPU climbed back in the last 24 hours (https://snpy.in/tNkhSu), though it’s low for the last two hours.
Here’s a screenshot of one of the IPs: https://snpy.in/gMyYYiAlso, if you have a link to an overview of how to use Wordfence, that would be appreciated. I’ll look up some YouTube videos.
Thanks again for your help.
Hi, thanks so much for helping me with the settings. I’ve set them up according to your instructions. So how do I know if the rules are making a difference? What do I need to keep an eye on?
My CPU usage has dropped since I installed Wordfence, Cloudflare, and the .hatacess file.
Hi, thanks for writing back. I got information about the bot from SiteGround server.
It reads: Unknown robot (identified by ‘bot’ followed by a space or one of the following characters _+:,.;/\-) 70,573+2399 2.16 GB 25 Sep 2020 – 16:42I’m new to WF, so I haven’t learned how to read the information in there. Here’s two screenshots:

https://share.getcloudapp.com/d5uplr2oIf you think upgrading to the WF premium would help tackle the bot, I will upgrade. ON the server side, I’ve added a .htaccess file, installed CloudFlare, and of course a basic version of WF.
