Pressing “noindex?”

Why don’t you use a plugin like Yoast SEO plugin or All-in-one SEO plugin? With a few tweaks, you can completely noindex every category and tag pages?

My tech blog [extraneous link moderated] has Yoast SEO plugin installed. I have placed a “noindex,follow” tag on page/2/ of category and tag pages.

I was able to fix this problem on my blog – https://blogote.com

This is valid only for category and tag pages.

Log into your WordPress site. Navigate to Yoast’s SEO plugin.

Go to TITLES & METAS.

Then TAXONOMIES tab.

Add %%term_title%% %%page%% to Title template.

Add this code for both Categories and Tags.
