In reply to: Fatal error when installing?I edited wp-config.php directly with notepad (first time I changed it to wp.config.txt to edit and that screwed it up/now I edited without changing it from .php) and upload again. Looks good! I’m off to the races.
Thanks again James!!!

In reply to: Fatal error when installing?I used Cyberduck and was able to upload everything. Now I get the error:
Sorry, I need a wp-config-sample.php file to work from. Please re-upload this file to your WordPress installation.
But I did upload the edited and renamed file: wp-config.php

In reply to: All my embedded Youtube Vids are are blacked out and unclickable?Clicking on Compatibility View worked. Thanks again WP Yogi.
—To turn on Compatibility View
1.
See if the Compatibility View button Compatibility View button appears in the Address bar. (If you don’t see the button, there’s no need to turn on Compatibility View.)2.
Tap or click the Compatibility View button Compatibility View button to display the site in Compatibility View.Forum: Fixing WordPress

Thanks for the email Andrew. I’m using Internet Explorer 10.
I just tried to upload a photo attachment to a Hotmail email and now I can….
So now I just can’t upload upload photos to my wordpress site using Internet Explorer, yet I can using Mozilla Firefox. At this point, it must be a problem with my WordPress files.

In reply to: Add Media and Text buttons not workingThe only solution that worked for me was to delete all the old files and then completely re-uploaded all new WP files. Only files I didn’t delete were the ones I uploaded in wp-content.
Thanks to WP Yogi for the help!!!

In reply to: "Add Media" button is frozen? It worked! Thanks WP Yogi!
I tried yesterday to do reinstall, but the key was not to overwrite old files, but delete the old ones first and then re-upload.
Also, it didn’t work just now until after I deleted and then reloaded “wp-content” too. I deleted everything in that folder, that is, except for my uploads.
Thanks again!!!
