Oh hi, Should I have left it on? I didn’t know. I will do it now.

I have the same problems. I can’t edit posts properly. Some of the buttons don’t work AT ALL! Like “Add Media” and “Distraction Free Writing.” Other ones do like “Bold, Italics…”

I’ve been searching the forums for a solution. Please add a link if you know of one.

Ok, I did that and still none of it works.

If it helps, this happens after I click EDIT POST and try to enlarge the post to edit or insert a link…

I’m also using Graphene theme.

I called my host(1and1) and they wrote a ‘.htacess’ file and had be upload it.

Now it works.

FYI, I fixed it!

The problem was that I had old websites in my hosting account that had the old WordPress versions on them. I deleted them.

Now my current sites with the updated WP are fine.

I figured it out. I went to thumbnail editor > right-clicked on the new thumbnail > clicked properties > copied the thumnail addess > and inserted that into the custom field.

If update password, do I still have to also update WordPress too?

This is the exact error:

Error establishing a database connection

This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at db—-.perfora.net. This could mean your host’s database server is down.
?Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
?Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
?Are you sure that the database server is running?

I just called and they said I need to reinstall. I hope it won’t screw up my site!!!

It works for me but I can’t center the video. When I do I get only the link.

In the dashboard, I clicked edit and retyped the post url. That fixed it. Have no idead why it was screwed up in the first place…

If the problem persists, I guess I will have to fix at the database level. I hope I don’t have to do it for each post though…

The url look clean in the control panel. There are no odd characters or extra spaces. Plus the 1st url below is good, but it defaults to the screwed up one.
