In reply to: [LeadConnector] 50K cron jobs disaster@paraglc frankly, I’m so terrified of this plugin that I don’t even want to go close to it, at least not on a live ‘money site’. After I cleaned all cron jobs, I installed the latest version again thinking maybe the bug is fixed… then I realized that I can’t even enable the ‘sms/email’ chat widget which was main reason to install plugin in the first place. Earlier versions I had no problem with that… Strange… I disabled it minutes later. To my surprise after a while, suddenly CPU spikes again. This time I know where to look. And, of course 30,000 cron jobs with 1-3 second intervals in the site. Clear up my calendar and back to work deleting them in small batches (CPU overloaded, can’t delete in big batches, you know…). Guys, common, I’m not the only one here. I’m a big fan of GHL, but this experience freaked me out big time. I’ve been with WordPress since the early days and I’ve never had to spend this much time fixing problems a plugin created. Trust me, I’m not a complainer, in fact, I love to encourage and support all hard-working developers, leave positive reviews but this left so much bad taste in my mouth I had to talk about it. I’ll be happy to change my review at some point but right now I don’t even want to touch it.
Thanks for your tips, but I take back the ‘lazy load of the first image’ concern. There’s no issue at all.
Also, my note about admin being slow is not the stone in your garden. I don’t think your plugin increased the admin performance. It was a general statement. I’m just hopeful that someone comes up with a plugin that can speed up WP Admin for sites with tons of plugins. Some of my clients have upgraded to pretty costly tiers of Cloud servers but the admin side still looks a bit sluggish.

In reply to: [Seraphinite Accelerator] SEO advertisement spam via client siteI’d suggest, if you don’t want the footer ad, just don’t download the ‘extended version’ and benefit from caching only or go for premium version. I personally like this approach as devs are giving you options. I guess, when you are downloading ‘extended version’ from their site, there is a disclaimer of agreement that you grant them this permission. So, I think anyone can just decide for themselves how to go about it. I personally left 5* as I think they’ve developed something really terrific. I’ve been testing and configuring a bunch of different solutions but it has always been quite a chore with hit or miss results.

In reply to: [Additional Order Filters for WooCommerce] please update or remove thisIs this version safe? Has security vulnerabilities been patched? Please kindly get back ASAP.
Here’s a Wordfence alert FYI:
Critical Problems:* The Plugin “Additional Order Filters for WooCommerce” has a security vulnerability.
Vulnerability Severity: 6.1/10.0 (Medium) Vulnerability Information
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/additional-order-filters-for-woocommerce/#developersFor those who are interested, I personally solved it by using Post SMTP plugin instead of FluentSMTP. I think they use a different way to connect to Google Account but it works. I hope I’m not stepping on the FluentSMTP team’s toes here. Overall, I think they are doing a great job with all their plugins (we’ve set up some of their other plugins for clients) but I had to resolve it for the client fast, and I was left with no options.
Yep, same problem. Suddenly, stopped working. When I try to authenticate token, get error

In reply to: [Blocks for Eventbrite] Details show only summaryIt does make sense, Jon. Hopefully, some sort of elegant solution can be found but in any case – appreciate your effort and reply.
Thanks for getting back to me. I know that migrations are tricky and SEO can be impacted. Unfortunately, the domain change wasn’t my idea and the client won’t budge. In any case, could you please advise, how to do the final step – redirect the homepage A to homepage B without losing completely access to WP admin on the site A? There must be a simple htaccess or wpconfig thing I need to do, right?
I mustered up courage and simply tried to redirect the homepage but it doesn’t seem to work – keeps asking me for ‘at least one valid url’. How to redirect the homepage? Please someone help!
I’m in the same boat. I’m trying to permanently redirect the homepage to the new domain homepage but I’m getting the same error. I hope someone can help. I’ve successfully redirected all the internal pages to the corresponding pages on the new domain, now only home page left.
Thanks for the heads up, Roshni.
if you could let me know which line to edit… or, maybe there’s a way to add a line to functions.php to disable that text line. I’m not a coder but can edit files if provided with some instructions.

In reply to: [WPD Beaver Builder Additions] Some parameters not working anymoreOk, it looks like these parameters like the title and related videos are discontinued by YouTube after 25.September by YouTube, so it’s got nothing to do with a plugin.
https://developers.google.com/youtube/player_parametersLooks like it worked. Thank you, Alex
