Thank you very much, hookandhook. – Good to know that translation of 90% triggers a new language pack generation. Also thanks for the link to the handbook.
Thank you for the quick reply, cutu :o)
If I understand you correctly, only such language files in https://translate.www.ads-software.com/projects/wp-plugins/contact-form-7-image-captcha are loaded by the plugin whose translation rate is 100%? The others with only 45%, 2%, 0% translation rate are not loaded, instead the plugin uses the .mo files in /wp-content/languages/plugins?
Thanks for the tip with loco translate, I’ll try that out.
Plus, I completed the translation in the RO file on https://translate.www.ads-software.com/projects/wp-plugins/contact-form-7-image-captcha, and I will see how long it takes until those changes are accepted…
Thanks again,
MartinaI deinstalled your plugin and reinstalled it.
Progress…!
Now in RO (45% translated in https://translate.www.ads-software.com/projects/wp-plugins/contact-form-7-image-captcha), SK (45% translated) and HR (45% translated) the correct languages are shown (of course, some words are missing). BG (0% translated), EN (0% translated) and DE (90%) still work all right and display all words correctly. I suppose, with 0% translation the plugin uses the language files in /wp-content/languages/plugins, am I right?
Only HU (20% translated) still shows the English texts.
Is there really no way to “overwrite” https://translate.www.ads-software.com/projects/wp-plugins/contact-form-7-image-captcha and place my own translations somewhere where your plugin recognizes and loads them, but will not overwrite those translations with the next update?
Again, please help me out. I would be willing to translate those languages I need on https://translate.www.ads-software.com/projects/wp-plugins/contact-form-7-image-captcha, but how long will it take until they are accepted?
Thanks again,
MartinaI am a webdesigner and use your plugin frequently – thanks a lot for it.
To create forms in a multi-language wordpress installation I use the plugins
Contact Form 7
Polylang
CF7 Smart Grid Design Extension
Contact Form 7 Polylang extension
WP Image CAPTCHA
Honeypot for Contact Form 7
Unfortunately WP image captcha does not show the correct languages, although the _locale settings in the postmeta table for the post_ids of the corresponding forms are set correcty, the translated .mo files are in the /wp-content/languages/plugins (as well as in /wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7-image-captcha-[locale]/languages) folders.
Languages: EN, DE, RO, HR, HU, BG, SK
Sometimes the English version is shown (RO, SK, HU), sometimes some words are translated (HR), sometimes all is fine (EN, DE, BG).
For some of the languages translations exist in https://translate.www.ads-software.com/projects/wp-plugins/contact-form-7-image-captcha – most of the languages we use are only translated 45%, 20%…
How can it be that e.g. RO displays in english, although the _locale setting in the database is set correctly and in https://translate.www.ads-software.com/projects/wp-plugins/contact-form-7-image-captcha/dev/ro there exists a translation, 45% translated. I tried to complete it, but I can make only suggestions and have to wait for confirmation, it seems…?
So PLEASE tell me what do I need to do to get the correct translations for your plugin working?
Of course, I use the latest version 3.3.12.

So, which option is there??? I don’t find it and really need advice!
Thank you,
martinaIt turns out my problem is not really a problem.
In the topic https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/confirmation-mail-only-in-english/ I had overlooked the answer you gave there:“Could you check if the subscriber has been registered with the correct language?”
I checked. If I change the language in the newsletter profile, it works as you suggest.
That was the reason for the – in my eyes — strange behaviour.I followed a different logic in my mind (following the language of the page where the subscription is made), but in fact everything is OK…!
Thank you for the great plugin.
martinaI have a problem tightly related it seems.
My main language is German, I use Polylang plugin to translate the website to 6 other European languages.
The Newsletter dedicated page was set up in German, I produced 5 copies of the dedicated page for the different languages an linked them all with Polylang.
If I open the newsletter dedicated page in the frontend and use the polylang language switcher in the frontend navigation menu to display the page in another language, everything works, so no failure seems to be in the polylang setup. But:
If I try out newsletter subscription process in the English version, and provoke a message like “You cannot register with this email, probably already registered” in any language, instead of the translated Newsletter dedicated page in English, the German NL dedicated page is shown (with the message in German)!
Same behaviour in all languages…Settings:
“Show all languages”: I set the dedicated page to the NL dedicated page of the German version.
German, English, all others: “Unstyled page”.
I tried different ways of setups (like trying to assign the dedicated page of every language in the General Settings directly) but nothing worked. My problem seems related to the following topics:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/confirmation-mail-only-in-english/
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/localization-issues-in-general-settings-and-company-info-with-polylang/
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/confirmation-mail-only-in-english/
…and some others I saw when searching the forum.Could it be there’s a flaw in way you “ask” the polylang plugin for the correct dedicated page?

In reply to: [Breadcrumb NavXT] search console error “itemListElement” for frontpageI replaced your plugin “breadcrumbs navxt” with “Yoast SEO” breadcrumbs and the error in search console disappeared (Testtool for structured data).
I used yoast seo before but with the breadcrumbs feature deactivated.– Maybe this gives you a clue?
greetings,
MartinaThank you!
I am in email contact with your collegue Nana for Details.Important for developers -so I point it out once again: The deletion of the GDPR Cookie Consent plugin happened when the latest version 3.65.1 of popup builder was used in a fresh install, on at least 3 websites (on other websites where this happened versions 3.65 and 3.64.1 were in use).
Thank you for your information and apologies, glad to hear you found the vulnerability in the plugin versions 3.64.1, 3.65 and 3.65.1., and that the bug is fixed.
In the meantime I have deleted your plugin on “my” 5 websites and used other plugins instead, some hours’ work…
It seems to me, though, that with deinstalling the popup builder plugin the problem might be solved. Can you give me more information about what the “issue” did? So that I know what has to be done to clean the websites? I really don’t want to take 5 websites offline…
I send you the HTML source code in an email, for analytical purposes.
Thank you for the otherwise very nice plugin – just make sure to test the new version rigidly, to avoid further issues ??
Dear Steve Stern,
I will of course have to clean ALL the hacked sites – it’s not only one, as I wrote, but 5 sites of my customers and 4 of my colleague, another web designer. It’s obvious that the plugin popup builder is the culprit – in the newest version 3.65.1. as I must point out – and the plugin has never before installed in a lower version.
Please, der Steve Stern, inform the developers of the plugin “Popup Builder”, I think it is important for them to know about this serious bug.
If you cannot do that, please tell me how to reach the developers.Thank you.
Martina BartikThank you for your answer.
I am sorry, I barked up the wrong tree obviously.I’ll try again to reach the developers of the plugin “popup builder”, I am very sure the plugin is the culprit, it was infecting 9 websites I know of, and they really have to evaluate the new versions of the plugin (who were reported bug-free after major issues in the versions before).
That’s why I got a bit angry about the relaxed answer, mistaking you for a developer.
Please tell me: Should I post once again in this forum and open another thread to reach the developers?
Of course I won’t post the html source code including the malware again, thanks for the information.
Thank you and good evening,
Martinahe also ONLY used the newest versions of your plugin and NEVER before any old versions, he also used it for the first time
My webdesigner/programmer collegue also found 2 of “his” websites infected – same setting, he used your plugin for the first time a few days ago to implement “corona”-popups for his customers.
Dear Sir,
I am not very pleased with your answer, but maybe I didn’t explain clearly enough what happened.
The issues (Cookie Plugin DELETED, malware code in HTML source files) happened only after FRESHLY installing YOUR PLUGIN in the reportedly BUGFREE versions 3.64.1 or 3.65 and 3.65.1.
We did not use your plugin before. Since it is very well rated, I was not prepared for problems with Plugin Builder.
Many of our customers needed popups in the last week because of the corona crisis, so we used your plugin for the first time on several websites.
If you read the html code I sent you, you will have noticed that the malware is placed between calls to popup builder javascript files. Exactly the same on all 5 websites.
Plus: If I disable your popup, the malware code disappears from the html source.
SOOOOO I suppose your plugin has something to do with it and contains bugs also in the newest versions.
The issues happen ONLY in these few websites where we (freshly) installed the officially patched versions of your plugin (3.64.1 or 3.65 and 3.65.1.)
Again I point out – we did not use the “officially” bugged versions of your plugin before, only the reportedly patched versions.I just talked to another webdesigner/programmer I know and he found the same issues on one of his websites, where he also used your plugin for the first time a few days ago.
I think all this sounds very alarming and you should find out what happens – if you care about your customers. Maybe you should just check it out…. ??
Looking forward to a more adequate answer,

Please react soon, you know best yourself that https:// is very important.
