In reply to: [Event Tickets and Registration] Can’t update RSVPThank you Tristan083.
Staging server environment:
WordPress v. 6.7.2
TEC v.?6.10.1.1
ET v. 5.19.1.2
PHP v. 8.2.13
MySQL v. 10.11.9-MariaDB
jQuery v. 3.7.1
Theme is a custom theme built on Foundation sites v. 6.7.5.I’m using the block editor to create and edit events. I may not have mentioned this in my original post, but I’m still able to update RSVPs on my dev server with the same plugins and theme, so I can’t understand why I’m not able to update on the staging server.
I sent a support request to support on zendesk.com. In that email I gave the staging URL and admin user and password so someone could try it for themselves.
I hope this helps. Thanks for your efforts.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Object Cache Test shows memcached +177%Thank you Marko. This is helpful.
Currently the site is on a staging server, so it’s not getting the traffic it will when launched. I’m inclined to leave object cache as memcached since, as you point out, it’s still incredibly fast, and will likely perform better once the site is live. Since I’m concerned about too many DB hits, this would be a better choice, too.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Error 403 after updating to 8.5.1@rokmeglic
Thank you for sharing that link. I was able to follow the instructions there and turn off the Order Attribution feature (which I don’t need) and now my site is working properly again.
You saved me the last of my hair! Thanks.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Invalid or Duplicated SKUI discovered the problem, and I’m writing this post for the benefit of others.
When I created the in-stock version of Kochi, I originally used the design SKU, but I later realized that my design Kochi needed that SKU (I added the in-stock item first, then the design). So I changed the SKU of Kochi in-stock to 73053-IS on the parent item, but I did not realize that the original SKU was still on the variation. Once I changed the variation to 73053-IS I could then save the Design to 73053 as I needed.
Sorry for wasting anyone’s time.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Internal links open in new tabThanks for your comments. While I strongly favor visitors having choice, marketing experts insist it’s a terrible idea to link away from your site without using target=”_blank”. Balancing different needs is always a challenge.
I know that my suggestion is one of many many you receive, and I certainly understand that you can’t implement them all. I just thought I’d offer my suggestion.
Thanks again.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Internal links open in new tabHi Tobias,
Thanks for the clarification. In my case, I have tables that have both internal and external links – hundreds of them. If I deactivate AUC (Automatic URL conversion) extension, then my internal links open in my current tab, but so do my external links, sending visitors away from my site. With AUC activated my external links open in new tabs, but so too my internal links, resulting is lots of open tabs of my site. I’m damned if I do, and damned if I don’t.
Therefore, I have a recommendation for an enhancement to either TablePress Automatic URL conversion Extension or TablePress. If a link contains the local domain it should target _self, for links to other domains it should target _blank.
I’m sure this is not a high priority request, but it certainly would be a useful enhancement. I hope you’ll consider it.
Thanks again.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Internal links open in new tabSo my issue really is related to TablePress Automatic URL conversion Extension. When I deactivate that plugin the links open in the same tab, but as soon as I reactivate it they open in a new tab.
Thanks for pointing this out. I’ll just have to be sure to deactivate the plugin as soon as I have finished importing my tables.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Internal links open in new tabHi Tobias,
Thanks for your quick reply.
I am using your TablePress Automatic URL conversion Extension. If that is causing all links to open in a new tab, then I guess I should deactivate it after importing tables with embedded links. I’ll try that to see if it resolves my problem.
Thanks again.
That’s wonderful Tobias. Thanks for your continued help and for following up.
BTW, I did leave you a very positive review.
Hi Tobias,
Thank you very much for responding so quickly. I should have said in my first post how much I appreciate the plugin you created, and how grateful I am. Thanks.
So I’ve found a work-around for the time being. I can copy/paste a table (with links as I want them to appear) into a regular classic page (I didn’t try it in the Block editor), then import that table from URL into TablePress. With your suggestion for adding target=”_blank”, I have it working very nicely.
Thanks again for your quick reply and for the fine plugin.

Sorry for the delay in responding.
Here’s a screen capture showing the WYSIWYG field with the title PDF shortcode. Notice that the rightmost tool icon in the toolbar is the 3D Flipbook icon (when you hover the icon it says 3D Flipbook), but as you can see it shows as a generic page icon and when you click it you get the “Cannot connect to the insert application” notice.
I hope this helps.

By the way, you have a very nice plugin.
Hi,
Thanks for replying. Actually this is a pre-sales question. My client want to have something like this: https://snipboard.io/CdZVm2.jpg There is a semi-opaque color overlay covering the thumbnail image, which, when hovered becomes completely transparent. I’m wondering if there is a way to accomplish this with your plugin?
