I brought the site back up by deleting jetpack last night. Will reinstall 4.0.4 later.

My site is a WordPress Multisite, and it’s old so there’s probably a lot of old not-great code. I don’t spend much time playing with it anymore, just keep it functioning, so I imagine there’s a conflict with multisite or another plugin. Unfortunately I don’t have time to look into it.

I have the latest version, obviously. It’s breaking my site. How on earth is that unclear? I already stated, twice, that I’ve updated to the latest version and it doesn’t work. Why would I need a link to it?

The last version, 4.0.4. works, so I’d like to reinstall it. If anyone can help with that, awesome.

Yes, I’m aware of that. And I had already reinstalled it from scratch, as I explained above (again via ftp). And as I said above, it still doesn’t work.

This is why I asked for the last version to install so that I have jetpack. As of now I had to delete it to bring the site back up. I cannot seem to find it.

Fantastic. It was unclear if that stopped only new subscribers or stopped sending the posts altogether. thank you.

So wait, is it really possible that if you do not want your subscriber list anymore, for so many reasons, you cannot delete it? You are forced to send these people your blog even if you’ve switched to another service? Unacceptable.

Wow. And now, all of the sudden, my other other domains no longer work. Excellent.

So, three days, not a few hours, but a few days later, I get this response (about a different domain. Meanwhile, dreamhost gets free advertisement while the domain points to the wrong place) :

it should be pointing to 208.113.137.85

Can you please fix this?

In order for the domain to be active on your account it will need to
resolve to 208.113.137.8. The domain shows the coming soon page because
you do not have files uploaded to the space you designated here:

No credits are due. You can simply upload your files to the website to
make it active. If you are not sure where to put the files please read

Hi. Last resort here (also for a migrated yoga blog). I’ve asked wordpress.com twice to migrate my followers and I haven’t heard a thing, or gotten the supporters migrated. It’s been over a month.

(It’s from a .org to .org migration, but the followers were through the wordpress.com jetpack and visible through my wordpress.com account.)

Any other way??

Great, yes, all updated and I moved over the last site and got most things working incl email in minutes…though there are some weird moments it veers between old site (still up at other host) and new!
