Agree! Bad attitude in the response by the plugin author.
Thanks for your response. Yes, you are right, it does say that images, etc. would need your pro version. Sorry I did not read to the very bottom of the description, where it says that – as sort of a disclaimer.
What I did read, located near the top of the page, was:
“Display feeds from multiple different Facebook pages/groups and use the shortcode to embed them into a page, post or widget anywhere on your site.”
You see, MY Facebook feed has images. Doesn’t yours? So, again I say again, what kind of a knucklehead would create a Facebook feed widget that doesn’t really display the feed properly?
Obviously, you are capable of including that feature in the plugin, it is available in the Pro version. Maybe it should be included in the free version, or what good is the plugin?
There are other features that can be used as enticement for a paid version. More sophisticated features, such as multiple layout options, post filtering by type or #hashtag/string, etc.
And having a friend post a glowing review right after mine is unimpressive, taints the review process and is similar to the behavior shown by putting a disclaimer at the bottom of the description page. Makes me wonder if all those 5-star reviews are real or just more buddies.
And it seems I am not the only person who feels this way, as indicated in numerous other reviews. In fact, one person referred to your free version as a trial version and suggested it be removed from the repository.
I have been using WordPress since Matt created it and I am growing weary of the increasing number of plugin developers who short-thrift their free version (which is the whole concept of WordPress) and create plugins that are useless unless one buys the Pro version.
Oh, and finally, you brag about your customer support. Let me give you some advice about that… the “customer” is always right, especially when you are trying to convert free users to customers.

In reply to: [Sliced Invoices - WordPress Invoice Plugin] Knuckleheads – No MoreThank you for your response. Sorry, if my review was harsh but it wasn’t my first problem with the ordering of your paid plugin extensions, or your website functionality. Also, the plugin I most recently purchased (which I did indeed receive 9 hours later) was advertised as “Instant Download” which most paid plugins should be.
I appreciate your responding and your dedication to making things right.
