Just updated the EBD plugin with ver. 5.1.3. This changed the order of the download list and email form so modified my page to make it work. Still having an issue with the download links not coming through right.

Had this problem after moving from a legacy server at GoDaddy to cPanel. A tech rep solved the problem in seconds…

In cPanel under the Email section there is an item called MX Entry. Changing the Email Routing from the default “Local Mail Exchanger” to “Remote Mail Exchanger” solved the issue of not receiving mail from all contact forms on the site.

Was able to fix this. Recreated the slideshow to generate a new shortcode. Found that the original PHP shortcode had capitalized “ID” – that may have been the issue. Going back to 1.5.1 has saved this site. Can’t find a good replacement for portfolio-slideshow.

Your solution works but only on shortcode inserted into a page or post. The shortcode that I’d hardcoded into a template isn’t working now. You mentioned tweaking your shortcode. Was this by any chance something you had hardcoded into a php doc? Would appreciate figuring out how to get my hardcoded version working again.

This comment led me to a solution which means going into the plugin files…but this worked for me. I removed the checked attribute from the email-before-download-php

If you specify checked, then it is checked; it doesn’t matter if you say checked=”false”, checked=”true”, checked=”checked” or just plain checked.

If you don’t want it checked, then do not include the checked attribute.

Is there a way to change the default to unchecked? I’m not seeing an unchecked option in the Admin Panel yet.
