In reply to: [Gmail SMTP] Error Message on Test EmailHi
We had a similar problem at EUKHost. Our site was run on our VSL and there’s a setting in WHM:
Security Center/SMTP Restrictions
which, if enabled will stop the whole VSL being able to use external mail servers (like Google’s). To get GMAIL SMTP plugin to work we had to disable SMTP Restrictions
I hope that helps.
This is the version. It’s paid for.
elFinder
Web file manager
Version: 2.1.11, protocol version: 2.1
jQuery/jQuery UI: 1.12.0/1.11.4We have 370 users. Over 2tb of content and 100s of folders. It’s on a standard Unix VSL at EUKHost and running PHP7. We are using it on a WordPress multisite.
I hope that helps.

Funny. It still seems to work for us.

In reply to: [SendGrid] API Key is invalid or without permissions errorI too have this error on a site hosted on a VSL.
I have generated a number of API keys now but am not sure that they are being entered correctly into the plugin correctly. The key is 69 characters long but when I add it to the API field on the plugin’s SendGrid Credentials page I don’t get any chance to press the ‘Update Settings’ button as the plugin immediately converts the keys to only 12 characters and the checks to see if it is valid, resulting in the the message ‘API Key is invalid or without permissions’.
I can see another user who had this problem found the API Key hard coded into the wp-config.php file and removing the entry allowed him to successfully add the new API key. There is no such entry in my wp-config file so I cannot get the Sendmail plugin to work.

In reply to: Admin page is blankWe have FTP and cPanel access but have no idea how to use either to flush caches I’m afraid. We’ve already disabled all the plugins though.

In reply to: Admin page is blankThanks again. Not entirely sure how we flush any caching plugins when we can’t get to the admin screen. ??
I’ll contact our provider though.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Admin page is blankThank t-p but we have already done a search of wp-config for superfluous blank spaces and lines. ??
Thanks Aihimel
Ah, we are using as an Extranet for one of our clients. It has 365 users and (so far) works very well indeed and does exactly what we require of it. I’ll have a look at the extensions. I’ve not been aware of them up till now. Thanks Aihmel.
I’m a little confused though. Normally a user’s home directory would be for their own use. Either for them to keep files in or for others to put files in for them to access. If this is not the case with Filemanager what is a user’s home directory for? As it stands I can’t see that it has any useful purpose. This is the wrong plugin site. Sorry. Please ignore (and delete)

Thanks for your reply wfalaa. I think the errors were caused by Wordfence requesting 279mb RAM when the limit was set to 256mb. We have left the limit set to 512mb and now all is OK.
BTW. Your plugin is fantastic. We suffer hugely from hacking and penetration scans causing DOS and Wordfence is the first security plugin we have tried that actually works properly and keeps our sites protected. Thanks very much.

In reply to: [Delete All Comments] I can’t find the pluginI have the same problem. WordPress is current version.
I have just seen that:
How much memory should Wordfence request when scanning = 512mb
I don’t think that is the default so the host may have changed it to gain the successful scan.Forum: Plugins
