yes, I get the login form and am able to log in but it goes to a 404 Not Found page with the address https://barefootbooksnetwork.co.uk/wp-admin/

If I change the URL to anything else in the back end, for instance https://barefootbooksnetwork.co.uk/wp-admin/edit.php then I get access to evrything in the admin panel except the dashboard

OK, there’s a file wp-app.php that is on the server at the moment, but not on my clean download of the latest edition. (installed wordpress from control panel first time). Should I delete this?

I can do it from the plugin and theme pages – I can access EVERYTHING but the dashboard. I’ve already deactivated all plugins and it had no effect. I’ve switched to Twenty Twelve too, and it had no effect.

sorry, that sounded like I was being arsey – wasn’t intended that way.

It really is just the dashboard though, and it’s so frustrating.
