Hi Everyone,
I’m having a similar problem. Unless I include a physical address for my event, the event won’t show up in the shortcode widget on the front page. Adding one makes the event display correctly. I’m using WP FullCalendar as well. My short code is: [events_list_grouped mode=”monthly” country=”US”]#_EVENTLINK – #_EVENTDATES at #_EVENTTIMES<br />[/events_list_grouped]I looked for a place to “get rid of country” as @rscalzo mentioned. Didn’t see that as a setting.
site is https://www.hueytownchamber.com (don’t laugh: first site I’ve ever done).
Thanks for your help and thanks for helping Scouts, rscalzo. I’m former CubMaster.

I disabled all plugins but Events Manager and subsequently, the “WP FullCalendar” by same author that allows for full-page display (which we want). I discovered that this problem only occurs when navigating to the events page via the main navigational structure. If I click “view page” from the admin side or by manually typing /events from the home page … calendar events show upon initial load of page. I won’t have the site online until Friday at noon but I thought the info above would be telling at least. – Thanks, Bob
I’d love to. But Im currently developing on a local server. I’m probably going to move this to online hosting via a subdomain in the next day or two. Ill be happy to reply again at that time. Thank you.
