Thank you for your follow-up. I’m terribly sorry for not getting back to you sooner.

We released WooCommerce Product Tabs (Pro) 2.0.0 which includes HPOS compatibility on 01 December 2023. I’m afraid we are yet to include the same in the free version of the plugin.

I am following up HPOS compatibility for the free version on your behalf with our developers, and will let you know as soon as we have new information.

I am glad to inform you that the fix for this issue is included in the new version that was released a few days ago – version 1.1.8. You should now be able to deactivate and delete the plugin from your WordPress admin area.

I’m sorry to hear you’re having similar difficulty with deleting the plugin. Thanks for letting us know so we can help.

We’ve identified the issue and will include the fix in the next release.

In the meantime, we’ve added it to a hotfix version that you can download from this link: https://we.tl/t-iWK5sjtbqt (available for the next 7 days). Please could you install this on your site as you would a new plugin, then overwrite the current/existing version when prompted.

Once you have done so, you should then be able to deactivate and delete the plugin as expected.

Hi?@westmind, thanks for the update. I apologize, the fix that was released does not to not work on certain specific scenarios. We are now working on a solution to be included in the next version. We’re also correcting the links in the plugin pages on the website.

We take QC seriously. Though admittedly there are situations where things slip through the cracks. These past instances are taken into account and we are continuously working on improving. Thank you for understanding. – Carl

I am sorry again for the trouble. We have released a new update for the plugin – version 1.1.7. This includes the fix for the issue where the plugin can’t be deleted. Please update your plugin and check if the issue persists.

I’m sorry to hear that WooCommerce detects our plugin as incompatible with its HPOS feature. We are aware of this issue, and this is because we missed including the code to declare HPOS compatibility. This declaration code will be added to the next version of the plugin.
