Hi @jan01
In such case, I am afraid it’s not possible. To add proper padding to your whole content, you’d needed to add a bit of code, as we include text editor rather than email editor, what implies that we do not expect any advanced formatting.
Nonetheless, to align your content, you could view your email as code (preview source in tools in TinyMCE editor) and wrap your elements in
<div style="margin: auto">
– this should help you center content. If that’s too technical for you, feel free to share the content of an email (if it’s not disclosed, if it is, you may use may email address bartek [at] jaskulski [dot] wpdesk [dot] eu). I will try to advise you particularly on your case then.Best regards,
BartekI’m sorry you experience such troubles. The error you mention is not related to ShopMagic.
To debug this issue, firstly check Logs → Outcomes page – it’s possible that some automations actually fire, but cannot be finished due to some error. If that’s so – anything should be on this page.
If this doesn’t bring any piece of information, I would ask you to collect ShopMagic’s logs and send it over to us to analyze.
You can enable logging in ShopMagic by heading to ShopMagic → Settings → General → Enable logging. Let ShopMagic work for some time (day or two) collecting logs, or make a test purchase which leads to an email not being sent. Importantly, to download the log file you should seek in your server’s error log or (if you’ve enabled WordPress debugging by setting
WP_DEBUG
andWP_DEBUG_LOG
totrue
inwp-config.php
) inwp-content/debug.log
on your website (usually accessed through FTP connection). If hope either way, you will be able to give us more detailed information about the issue to help you resolve it.
Best regards,
BartekHi @skus
Such issues are usually related to general email deliverability. Did you check your emails with spam tester and are you sure that your domain has correctly set DNS headers as DKIM, SPF, etc.?
Additionally, it’s the best to rely on some SMTP solution to send emails, as WordPress built-in mailing functionality cannot be relied on for higher volume messaging.
We will try to perform some tests with icloud domain on our side, but from my experience, I can already tell you that there’s a little that ShopMagic can do about it. We’re simply providing message editor and scheduling system, there’s nothing to interfere with mailing functionalities.
I will mark this topic as not support question, as conditions heavily rely on your setup and flow, and it cannot be reproduced or considered as direct plugin’s issue. Nevertheless, it doesn’t mean that you are not allowed to continue this thread – feel free to post any of your findings about settings mentioned above and let us know whether it hopefully brought you any aid.
Best regards,
BartekHi @lawrenceitg
As you refer to a feature included in paid extension, I would recommend you to head to our official support channel at shopmagic.app – consulting there may result in faster response time for our paid users.

BartekHi @jan01
You are able to align text to center by setting this in TinyMCE editor, as shown on the top bar.
If you’d like to create more advanced formats, it’s usually done by splitting email content into multiple tiny table elements (which you can insert in the editor as well), but this may not be such straightforward to set up.

Hi @jan01
Unfortunately, Abandoned Carts doesn’t come with export feature, it is included neither in free nor paid version of our plugin.
Additionally, I can’t promise that such a feature will land, but we will list it in our todo list.
Alternatively, with the addition of another free extension, ShopMagic for Google Sheets, you could export any new cart to your spreadsheets, but to make this work on all previous ones, you’d needed a paid extension ShopMagic Manual Actions.
Lastly, if you are experienced enough, you could try to retrieve those data straight from database with some SQL query.

BartekHi @zappob and @aebenstein

Hi @skus
In such case, I would ask you to enable debugging in ShopMagic and send over the logger data (you may use some temporary access service, like pastebin.com with a week expiration).
You can enable logger in ShopMagic → Settings → Enable logger. Try to reproduce the issue (whole automation flow, not the test) and send us log file with collected information. You will be able to retrieve log file following this guide: https://woocommerce.com/document/finding-php-error-logs/#php-error-logs-on-the-server
You report the same issue as mentioned here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/cannot-checkout-list-must-be-opt_in-or-opt_out/
I would ask you to respond to me in linked topic and I will be able to close this thread, if you don’t mind.
As this issue is linked to marketing lists, could you please navigate to ShopMagic → Marketing → Lists and look for any published list you have there? Disable them temporarily – this should prevent checkout issue.
Another workaround would be to open such a list and just hit the save button – there might be some issues with upgrading process, which we are still investigating. Plain save should correctly convert the data structure to the newest version.
If you are determined to downgrade the plugin, you can download a previous release from the plugin’s repository page at the bottom of the Advanced view section.
