Let me gently remind, that you are referring to ShopMagic Manual Actions which is a part of PRO bundle and as such it is not tightly related to ShopMagic. Additionally, I would suggest to contact us through support platform accessible from https://shopmagic.app website.
About the bug, you report: does the automation list users without any filters? Can you successfully execute automation but action fails? Are any outcomes saved with failure message?
To further debug this issue, I would recommend enabling debugging in ShopMagic → Settings → Enable logger. Try to reproduce the issue and send us log file with collected information. You will be able to retrieve log file following this guide: https://woocommerce.com/document/finding-php-error-logs/#php-error-logs-on-the-server

I just wanted to inform you about the current progress in ShopMagic.
With release of 3.0.5 we introduced a suggested setting to disable email tracking. You can head to ShopMagic -> Settings -> General and turn it off (it’s enabled by default).

You also mention an issue with icons in GUI – could you post a screenshot of those invisible icons? We were unable to reproduce this circumstance in our environment.

We are patching this bug, but in meantime you can make use of workaround: if you open dialog to attach PDF attachment and switch back and forth between “Upload files” and “Media library” tab. Then any of your pdfs should appear.

Could you, please, check how your marketing lists are configured? This error suggests, that at least one of them (even if saved as draft) may interfere with the checkout process.
As to automatic installation of ShopMagic extensions – we are already aware of the issue and fix for that will be released next week.

We’ve noticed that the repository build of the plugin is somewhat incomplete, and we are investigating the issue.
The file, that is referenced in error message (
cache/CompiledContainer.php
) should be attached in zip file. When it’s not found, it tries to create such a file on your server, but something had to went wrong during saving the file (it may be related to your server settings).I would recommend to wait for upcoming ShopMagic release, scheduled for next week, which will resolve that issue.
I will let you know, when plugin will be ready!

We have looked into this issue. Our findings are – it can only occur in admin UI, when editing automation. Nevertheless, it has to be improved!
Could you describe when do you experience this issue? Are there any steps to reproduce?
