Thank you for the update! May I ask – why did you need to change a username – I use Bluehost and suddenly could not log into my account there – but my website is fine! The support guys is telling me I need to change my username and I get that the two are connected but I don’t really get why? If I can get into my blog fine ya know? I’m not a tech person at all but if you are does this make any sense to you? Sorry to bother you and thanks in advance for any insight you can provide!! ??

Thanks for the suggestion! Been down that road before with other plugins and will certainly give it a shot!! I know that the theme is up to date. One of of the plugins recommended wasn’t compatible with the latest version of WP tho. I found one to try but it’s kinda confusing. I’ll go through and see if the theme or plugin or whatever was working before is conflicting with any more recent ones.

Assuming you read this, may I ask another question?? No date is showing up on my posts at all!! Not published or last updated and its driving me crazy. It tells me in the admin/editor part when it was published but it doesn’t show up on the post! However the date is shown for related posts at the bottom of the page! Do you have any idea what’s up with that? It used to show the date but it stopped and I don’t even remember when I noticed that they were all just gone! And when you bring up my page on a mobile device it literally shows wrong things – like I have a widget that I have used for years that shows “Most Recent Posts” but on a phone is shows “most popular posts” and I have a title and image widget and it shows and image that was deleted long ago! I;m so conused and fyu – I know very, very little about coding so Im long passed the point of lost on all of this! If you an help or at least point me in the direction of where to go for help I would be hella grateful!! Thanks for your help already!

I need help. I know very, very little about coding and I’m afraid to even try as it might make my site even more messed up! I use a different theme ( which I hope is ok to ask about) anyway, it’s Customizr Theme or whatever … but I want any date to show up on my post on my site. They all just disappeared when I gave my site a makeover this summer – I’d like to have the reader know at least when it was published if not also if and when it has been updated! But my actual site shows nothing!

And everything gets stranger from there – the thumbnails of the featured pics for my posts on the the home page are all truncated! Ive tried regenerating the thumbnails and nothing changes!!

And back to the dates = at the bottom of the page the blog shows “Related Posts” to the one that has just been read – and all of those shoe dates!! So why are the dates suddenly gone from the post itself!

I’m sorry to ask another question but you guys seem knowledgeable so you can at least point me in the right direction – my moblie site is all wrong and very different that it should look!

It’s like I’m in a nightmare and I can’t fix anything or navigate this site even enough to be able to get anyone to help me! Please if you can’t help can you direct me where to go to find help! I so wanna just scream right now! LOL!

@jamesosborne HELP! I used to be tech savvy but its moved to fast for me. One day site Kit was set up & a couple days later it’s just blank. I deactivated plugins, tried deactivating and re-installing Site Kit….and still nothing. I dont even understand all that stuff @kapson sent you but I followed similar steps and still nothing! Please Help! Thanks
