That worked great. Thank you so much for help, and I liked your update to the plugin explaining how/when to index with ranges.

I would like to play with the query template; is there some documentation for that?

Well, I have been playing around with Postie settings today to try and control how forwarded Gmail messages are parsed by Postie/Wordpress, and now the problem email with the jpeg image posts just fine.

I changed so many things in the “Message” settings, I’m not sure what did the trick. My main problem now is that there are all sorts of <div> tags in the messages posted via Postie. Is there a document with clear instructions regarding the “Message” settings?

I really appreciate your plugin and your help!

The “Drop The Signature From Mail” setting is already set to “No”

I apologize for not responding sooner…

I have a similar problem right now with an email with just a single jpeg image. I have forwarded the same message I forwarded to our Postie gmail account to [email protected] (Subject = “Fwd: Kankakee River near Shelby IN”). Here is the “Test Config” output:

    Postie Configuration Test

    Postie is in /var/www/html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/postie
    Cron: On
    Alternate Cron: Off
    iconv: installed
Warning! Postie requires that imap be enabled if you are using IMAP, IMAP-SSL or POP3-SSL.
    mbstring: installed
    Clock Tests
This shows what time it would be if you posted right now

    Connect to Mail Host
Sucessful POP3 connection on port 995
    No waiting messages
