Tenho a coluna “special_item_id” no meu csv. O registro é duplicado mesmo assim e recebe um novo número de item na biblioteca de mídia. Atualiza??es sucessivas do mesmo csv criam repetidos itens na biblioteca.

Fui ao funtions.php para modificar o filtro e me dei conta de que eu tinha cometido um erro na aplica??o do filtro, colando-o mal, no lugar errado!!!!!

Fiz a corre??o e mantive o filtro em 10.

O resultado… o filtro funciona e pude, agora, fazer o upload de uma batelada de itens. Interrompi o processo, depois de um breve período e lá estava uma quantidade enorme de itens subidos!!!!!

@vnmedeiros , ao que parece, o problema está resolvido!!!! Que alegria!!! Fiquei surpreso com cada proposta engenhosa, na busca da solu??o desse problema. Estou muito agradecido, admirado,, impressionado e feliz! Ao mesmo tempo, lamento ter feito vc ter perdido tempo na ultima postagem, por um descuido meu. Por partes:
A situa??o permanece praticamente a mesma, mas, de fato, se antes eu subia 2 itens, passsei a subir 10 ou mais (dependendo do tamanho das imagens a serem subidas), antes que o ciclo recomece e o os mesmo itens sejam subidos. A cada ciclo um draft vai para a pasta draft…

Parênteses: Por alguma raz?o que desconhe?o, consegui acesso à pasta draft por um momento. Apaguei os arquivos e perdi, pouco depois, o acesso a ela novamente. Mas esse é um segundo problema, que averiguarei com mais detalhes buscando o log de erros do servidor. Fecho parênteses.

Em 11 seg foram processados 16 itens. 5 minutos e 1 seg depois 17 itens (os mesmos itens processados anteriormente) s?o processados por 10 segundos. Nova interrup??o. Encerro o processo que recome?aria, do mesmo modo, 5 min depois. Se eu n?o interromper o processo, os ciclos v?o se repetindo e duplicatas v?o sendo criadas incessantemente… tanto como novos itens na cole??o como quanto como novas imagens na biblioteca de mídia.

é interessante que o item 361 (por exemplo) havia sido criado no primeiro ciclo. Porém ao se iniciar o segundo ciclo…

Espero ter entendido: adicionei o filtro no functions.php do meu child theme (wordpress_content>themes).

10 itens com fotos s?o salvos, antes do ciclo se reiniciar quando, novamente, 9, 10, 11 items s?o subidos novamente. Tudo parece se resumir, mesmo, ao import time limit. Em segundos (ou fra??es) s?o subidos os 10 itens, gera-se uma pausa e depois de algum tempo o ciclo é retomado… até que eu interrompa o processo manualmente.

De fato nossa hospedagem é compartihada e tudo o que vc comenta faz sentido. Um novo problema surgiu (eventualmente por alguma altera??o de configura??o que eu tenha feito e q n reconhe?o, coincidente – suponho que por mero acaso – com a atualiza??o). N?o tenho mais acesso à pasta draft, que acumula itens… um draft, com um item incompleto a cada ciclo interrompido é criado.

N?o entendo por que o processo se interrompe e recome?a. Ou às vezes demora tanto que n?o recome?a (ou perco a paciência e o interrompo). E tenho uma Internet de alta velocidade. Verifiquei o wp-cron do Tainacan (tnc-bg_generic_process_cron_interval, tnc-bg_exporter_cron_interval, tnc-bg_import_cron_interval) e ele está mesmo em 300 (5 min). A cada novo upload de arquivo (o que demanda salvar o csv como novo csv, eliminando os itens que já foram subidos, e fazer todo o processo de upload, remarcando cada op??o adequada ao meu csv e, mais tarde interrompendo o processo, eliminando os itens repetidos, esvaziando itens caídos no draft, mais a lixeira, apagando as imagens e csv repetidos na biblioteca de mídia) para fazer o upload de 2 a 6 itens por vez. O fatp é que, de teste em teste, já fiz o upload, só neste csv, de 119 arquivos… dois a dois…

Um save preferences no importer teria ajudado muito…

Eliminei todas as imagens do csv no campo special_docuemnts e, como suspeitava, tudo o que aconteceu foi um aumento do número de itens importados (35 contra 2 a 6). Assim, ajuda, mas ainda n?o resolve a minha necessidade de importar uma biblioteca de 1100 itens e fazer o update deles, com mudan?as dos indicadores (acréscimo de um campo variável a todos os itens) é impensável.

Será que outros usuários n?o relataram problema semelhante… pensei que aquele problema, já identificado, de itens duplicados se relacionasse a isso, mas penso que aquele problema possa ter a ver é com este…

Em todo caso, continuo testando e estudando possibilidades.

Segui todas as recomenda??es e consegui fazer o upload de um maior número de itens… de 12 a 15 (antes o upload era de 2 itens), antes que o ciclo recome?asse, com um item cau=indo na pasta draft e novo ciclo se iniciando. Marco como “ignore”, n?o como “update” in “repeated items options”

Aumentarei o max_execution_time, manualente, no ht_acesss para 300. Identifiquei que o tainacan reconhecia o max_execution_time como 120… o que n?o parece ser ruim… parecia modificado para 300 na altera??o que fiz pelo hpanel, mas o Tainacan ainda identificava como 120… n acho que seja isso mas acrescentarei uma linha ao ht_access, em todo caso, e farei novo teste.

Em wp-config.php, Acrescentei as linhas logo antes de “That’s all!”.

Novamente foram importados 2 itens do arquivo csv e o terceiro caiu, incompleto na pasta draft, em uma fra??o de segundos. Pouco depois, o mesmo recome?a e itens duplicados s?o acrescentados e caem no draft, da mesma forma. Como anteriormente. O processo só é interrompido por mim, manualmente

I upload the csv file and the 2 items are correctly uploaded. The third item falls into a draft folder: uncomplete. Duplicate copies of those items are created then until I stop the process.

Anyway, the problem is not in the csv file. Each time I delete the uploaded items, I can upload 2 new items (the next goes, again, to the draft folder and the process is repeated). The duplicated images and the duplicated copies of the csv files are stored in the media library. In a fraction of a second the 1st items are upload, then in a slow loop the uploading is repeated… I disabled the wp-cron manually and then I installed a plugin named WP Crontrol disabling “running wp-cron”, changing Tainacan recurrences to “once hourly” and apparently nothing changed.

I am uploading here an image of the image duplication until I abort the upload process, just in case:

Perfect. In a Library of 1000+ items I would be able to import 2 items and a third item would fall in the drafts as an incomplete item. Then, I would have the duplication of items. I couldn’t find if the problem is a wp-cron call, as the issue happens in just a few seconds (1 or 2). Before this I changed the cron job of the theme, I disabled the heartbeat… and finally, after knowing that this could be a wp-cron issue, I disabled the WP-Cron, by adding the line define(‘DISABLE_WP_CRON’, true); in wp-config.php, just before the line “That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging.” It didn’t work.

I am still working in uploading my csv… and I couldn’t find a way to do it. I made many attempts and I already have 100 items in my collection (!!!). How? Trying to upload the csv, stopping the process after 2 seconds (after realizing it created the draft and will create duplicated items), deleting the uploaded items from the original csv and restarting the upload (also deleting the many duplicate imagens in the media library. If I made 400 attempts more I would have my csv uploaded… I can not do it.

I wonder how other institutions could upload their collections. Reducing the number of columns in a second collection actually made it possible to upload 3 items on each attempt. So, in just 10 attempts I could upload 30 items… of course I did it just for testing different changes in the csvs, in cron jobs and so on and it can not be used as a method! Any other suggestions on how to mitigate or contour the issue?

It would not solve the problem but it would be very useful, handy, if it was possible to save preferences when importing the csv files (delimiter, file encoding, repeated item preferences…) in stead of turning back to the defaults each time.

The problem definitely is not a problem in the csv. Separating the csv in small csvs makes the update work but it os not a solution when you have a csv with 1000+ items. Big images are a problem but when you have a photo catalogue it is inevitable to have them (and I don’t mean huge images). I suppose the problem is a kind of time limitation in the uploading which generates the loop that repeats the items in the collection and fills the media with the same files (photos and csvs) endlessly when you update the files.

In “Media files, an infinity of repeated thumbnails are created, as well as copies of the csv files like “filename-7.csv”. I read something, somewhere, about exceding a certain time, while uploading. Do you think this could be the reason for the issue?

A process running on a 2nd page (one of my first attempts to import the csv) that I cuould’nt see was the cause of the endless importing of items from the csv and I could stop it. Even though, Tainacan is still importing continuously the same first items, creating an endless list of the same items.
