In reply to: [Theme My Login] Theme My Login 6.3Thanks for the reply Jeff.
Since your recent update, the links no longer work on the login form.I want to have Login/Register in my own menu at the top of the screen (baythemoon.com)so I created a page and put [theme-my-login] into its content, but clicking the Register or Lost Password links on the Login form now results in this message:
The page isn’t redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept

In reply to: [Erident Custom Login and Dashboard] ShortcodeHi Libin
Thanks for the response.I’m not sure if I know what I mean here, but, I tried a plugin called ThemeMyLogin, and with that I was able to put the Log In link on any of my pages by just inserting the shortcode [theme-my-login].
Am I getting my wires crossed?

Thanks for the response, but no luck I’m afraid. Neither archive.php nor category.php contain either of those bits of code.
I just had a thought: The list of posts shown after clicking Categories has a restriction on how big the excerpt is, is it possible that embedding is not permitted or not readable by the code that restricts the excerpt? Or any idea where the bit of code is that allows me to lengthen the excerpt?

In reply to: Six weeks of trying to fix underlines, menu and grey textHey Nick
Thanks for that. It’s a cracking piece of software. Helped me to find and fix another tiny, but irritating bug. I must have trodden in something on the way to work this morning to be lucky enough to have got your good self as the respondent. Been trying for ages.

I discovered the problem, or rather the fix, for this issue. I added AddHandler x-mapp-php5 .php to the htaccess file. Perfect result. It also unexpectedly fixed another issue, the Screen Option link did not work. Happy days.Once again. I thank you for your help.

Many, many thanks for your help. Items 2 + 3 now fixed. (finally)Regarding the first item. I was able to create a menu, put two items in it (Back to main site & Back to blog home page) now I cannot edit it at all because it is greyed out. See pic here.

In reply to: Can someone complete this line of code please?Thank you for your responses guys. I wasn’t able to do it as the WP guide say. However, as is so often the case, I found a very simple solution; I just created a menu and put in a link to my site home page. Sorted. Now I shall just wipe away the tears of frustration and get on with my life.

Not sure what that page means. All I want is for users to be able to click the existing link called Home, to leave the blog and go back to the site, one directory up. The installation docs say it can be done, by changing the index.php page as described in my OP.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Can someone complete this line of code please?Shiraz. Thanks for the response.
Will doing this allow users to see a link that takes them back to the main site, instead of what it does now, which is return them to the blog home page?
