thank you so much for your reply! turns out, the theme I bought has ACF pro included, but “The admin page to edit custom fields added by the ACF Pro plugin is hidden by default” (and a few people installed the plugin and broke their site O.o).
I wonder, if the theme is already using Acf fields, why they wouldn’t work in the Favorites plugin!…
