    OK thanks. Right now, we’re working around it by removing URL links and employing gallery plugins.

    Still waiting for our hosts to get this fixed.

    But meanwhile, esmi, can you tell me why the image appears IN THE BLOG POST but NOT when you CALL IT BY ITSELF?

    Makes absolutely no sense to me with what I know of the Internet.

    Unfortunately, our hosts don’t provide support —?we have to figure out the problem and order possible fixes, but that’s all. That’s why I’m in this support area.

    I’m curious —?why do you think it might be a server issue?

    You got me thinking that perhaps it involves permissions in a folder (allowing ASCII but not binary). But that doesn’t explain why the images show up OK in the image editor, and as thumbnails in posts.

    It’s only when you click on an image to enlarge it to its original size that all the garbage characters show up.

    The focus of the problem seems to be the Link URL. Could the issue be in the rewrite rules in htaccess?
