I am having this exact same problem after upgrading to 5.5.1. All my drop down menus are non-functioning now. I am using a paid pro version of “Slim”.

Hi Angus, I’m having similar issue. Live Preview stopped working and I’m not sure why. I’m running WP:5.4 and a paid theme called Slim. All I get is a blank screen under the Live Preview controls (under the Contact 7 edit window). I’ve read something about “hooks” but not sure how I would check that? Seems like it had been working before with this same theme though. Not really sure at what point it stopped working. Any help would be appreciated.

Aha – I wonder if that might be due to the fact that I just “upgraded” the theme to the “Pro” version (haha). which is supposed to get rid of some advertising in the footer. I’ll connect with the theme author to see if I can get this resolved. Thanks for the quick response.

Not I did try deactivating all plugins except Photonic but that didn’t help.
