I thought it was on auto renew. This has all caught me off guard for sure.

My website manager will come and explain where we are. Hopefully she can explain things in a more technical way than I can.

HOW??? I have been on this all day but can’t find who or where I get this fixed.

I found out that my domain has expired. I received a notice 4 months ago and forgot about it – it seemed a bit early to be warned about it expiring. I expected another notice closer to the expiration but never received anything. Now I learned today it has expired. The domains are pointing at WP.com.
I read about Domains Expiration and it only suggests I go on the Dashboard but I can’t access it.

Can you do anything to get this fixed. I want to renew my domain and set it up that this never happens again. I have built my organization around my domain. I need this fixed asap.

I have seen the note so I guess I will have to wait the 24 – 48 hours to see if things changed and are working. Fingers crossed.

Yes on Friday they sent me a notice when they started the transfer and later in the day when they said it was over and operational. But it never was.

They don’t work weekends? I wish they would have said that so I didn’t just get the impression they weren’t responding to all my emails.

I bought the domain package from WP.com. I then asked for and paid for a guided transfer of my account to WP.org at the same time arranging for the domain to be hosted on GD.

I found out from GoDaddy, the new host that my domain is not pointing to them so the WordPress.com account I have been working on has not been guided transferred to you yet.
Seems weird that when you buy a guided transfer you can’t depend on them doing just that – transferring it over.
Regardless, thanks for your response to my pretty vague question. I guess I will need to just keep trying to get WordPress.com to finish what they say they did.

I am having the same problem. I requested a domain guided transfer and they have sent me a note saying it was done but I can’t access it and no amount of notes to WordPress is getting a response. It seems that “support for 2 weeks” isn’t true.

I can’t access my supposed WP.org account.

Frustrated beyond belief
