Yes, this is with the pro version. It was working fine up until these updates. Rolling back the plugin updates does solve the issue. I didn’t change anything on my end. I shall use the form.
Hi, the changes fixed the red error code from appearing. However, the now the fields just appear blank.
My custom templates are loading, so the other styling and other static content is loading correctly. However, any fields with {{ }} are not loading into the front end.
I believe it might be down to the ACF Field Group fields.
So, not the ACF Field Groups, but the “Group” field type within that.
I have lots of data within these groups, and since the update, these are not appearing front end, and I assume they were causing the errors.
I’m not sure if it will let me share a link here.
I have kept the broken site version on my stg here:
https://bchp24stg.wpenginepowered.com/holidays/camping-holidays/grass-tent-pitch-4/
There should be values loading in by “Check In”, “Check Out” and “seasons end”.
As you can see, the “per night from” value is still correctly loading, as this is NOT in an ACF group field.Yes the error only occurs when un 3.0.3
When rolling back to 2.4.7 the error does not occurI’ve updated to the pro feature to solve a different issue I was having. I have been playing around with the ACF View Cards allowing me to create query loops that Ajax pagination. Really nice usability for the site.
Anyway, I have just noticed an extra option on my ACF Views called… “ACF Views”. Clicking read more states this is a pro feature that lets you refer to fields from related selected views. I think I can use this to make my idea here work! I can create a new ACF View for the “Sports Team Logo”, then relate that to my other taxonomy view. I will have a play, but it sounds like it should work!Hi. Thanks for the swift response.
I think I see what you are saying. If I’m understanding this correctly, you’re saying that with the Shortcode, I can choose a specific single-term’s image and display that next to the term titles. So I can define a specific term ID to get the image from?If so, that won’t work for what I’m after. I’m using these shortcodes in templates to grab the fields dynamically and new content is continually added. So static content in the shortcode isn’t an option. Each of my custom post types has its own field group and template. Plus, in this instance, I have multi-select for the terms.
I have had a go with your example and I think I have adjusted the names and ID’s appropriately. I couldn’t get it to display anything with the changes to the shortcode. It didn’t return an error, but it also wouldn’t display anything. It is great to know that there is more that can be done with the shortcode and I will look into the documentation further regarding this.
I’d be open to trying an alternative way outside of taxonomy, if there’s another way to achieve this. I like to have the archive by using taxonomy, but I’d still be interested to learn of other methods that may be able to use a view shortcode to grab custom fields from within another custom post or item.
Otherwise, I eagerly await the availability of &taxonomy& and other functions to come in the future!

Awesome work. Thank you very much. I look forward to getting to work with your plugin agian ??
Hi Phi,
I have created a fresh site and I’m receiving the same error.
I am using a host called wpengine, which seem to install a few of their own plugins by default. I don’t know these are interfering.
I’d be happy to give you access to this dev site. A vanilla install that gives me the same error when I try to install your plugin.
If you would provide me with an email address, I will send you a login. Thanks.Hi. Thank you for looking into this.
The patterns.php file is there, in the location you have specified.
I’ve deleted the plugin in WP, and deleted the “cotent-blocks-builder” folder with “wp-content/plugins”.
I’ve reinstalled the plugin again and I’m still receiving the same error.Hi.
The plugin still works on my personal site.
My personal site is running PHP 8.1.14 with WP 6.1.1. Using the Twenty Twenty-Two Theme. It’s a very minimal portfolio and blog site.
The site I am working on, which is having this fatal error:
This site has been around for a few years, using a paid-for theme and page builder (Impreza) with quite a few plugins. It’s been passed down through several SEO agencies that have just piled on more and more plugins.
I have now copied this to a staging site and ripped it all down, rebuilding it with the Twenty-Twenty-Three theme. Keeping everything pretty vanilla with minimal plugins.
This staging site is now updated to PHP 8.0, using WP 6.1.1.
This staging site is where the fatal error is now occurring when attempting to install.
The original plugins are still installed but deactivated. Woo Commerce is enabled.
I have attached an image of the plugin list.Correct ?? 2.3.9
